I'm looking forward to the blooming stage- right now I just feel fat and knackered! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Lol - That made me laugh Lara. I feel a bit like that myself!

Well I didn't make the transfer deadline so will have to hope that they offer me another one for July/August. Am a bit peed off as if I had been paid when I was meant to this would have gone through.

    Omg I AM pg!

My period was late and my boobs were really sore, so I indulged my POAS habit with the test I had in the cupboard. It was positive!!! :j:j:eek::eek:

Thanks CMD, I'm excited and scared!

It's not ideal that the first trimester will overlap with 3 months of hardcore writing. But if I need an extension because of tiredness or sickness at least I will have a reason. My exam is not scheduled until January so it's okay.

I had been planning out the next post-doc projects which also involved fieldwork and travel to far flung places. There were no guarantees that I would get funding for these - but this requires a rethink.

But I am so happy! The group I was out with yesterday included a close friend and his son. We had a ball playing together and I was so broody.

OH is away in Slovenia so I had to tell him on Skype. Of course the call self-destructed after I had shown him the test on video. Managed to have a crackly chat with him, and he seems so delighted. We were both just blubbing. :o

Sorry about the transfer deadline, btw. Grrrrr to your work. Could you call up and ask the cc company?

I suppose I could ring but they also offered me a transfer in April and then re-offered it again so I am assuming they will do the same thing. I hope so anyway!

Maybe give them a ring and explain you just missed out, and any chance they could extend that deal for you. Nothing ventured....?

We were TTC last year, but stopped in March because I was so freaking out about work stuff. Also because I was worried about being so stressed and it affecting the baby's formation or something. I am a born worrier! :o
