Ooh not been on here for ages! Oh yes the drum saga does indeed continue. OH has yet to place an advert for it anywhere
I did list our iCandy peach though and a maxi cosi car seat. No interest yet, which is annoying, but hopefully there will be soon.
Had some great news today. Our UK mortgage will be coming down from £642 to £342 per month from June onwards. As we are BTL we had a high mortgage rate but now we are on the variable rate. It is great news as our tenant pays us £550 per month so we will have £200 more per month towards debt repayment.
May has been a horrible month expenditure wise. We have had my mothers birthday, FIL's 60th, had to pay for 12 deriving lessons upfront for OH and then mine on a pay as you go rate. We haven't added to the debt, but haven't been able to save as much as we would have liked either.
We will also have to pay for a car sometime soon too. That figure in my sig is looking like it will never go down at the moment.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Oh no about the drum kit!
Hopefully the pushchair and carseat will sell, they are both popular ones.
That is great news about the english mortgage.
May has been tough moneywise for us too with my hen do and had lots of birthdays too. Will be having a quiet end of the month. Havent been able to pit anything towards wedding this month and will prob end up taking money out the wedding saving.0 -
Thanks Wendz
Well *fingers crossed* the drum kit has sold again. OH is invoicing the fella on Paypal this evening so I don't think the sale will fall through. I also had a query re the buggy today so hopefully it will sell too.
We had a lovely weekend away but Max got chickenpox yesterday so the poor love is feeling very sorry for himself (and rightly so)Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

The 2 kiddies are asleep (rare) and while I know by not waking them up now it means they will go to bed later, I want a bit of me time!!! I ironed for an hour so now I want 30 mins to catch up on things!
I am now under 18k! I am hoping to get under 16k by the end of June and clear the Virgin credit card so that I can avail of their 0% balance transfer. I would hope that all I have then is one UK cc that is on a 0% rate until 2014, possibly an overdraft and then just an Irish cc.
OH got €2000 back in tax back today and we were only expecting €1000 so we were thrilled. Because he is using my credits (I am self-employed) his wages will go up by €350 a month as well. And the drum payment has gone through, so it is a good day for money.
Things will be tight until I pay off the Virgin card though, and it will be to the bone so I will have to really try and budget this month.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Another £1000 gone off my credit card. Slower progress than I expected. I just hope I can get it all paid off by the end of June. The sterling/euro exchange rate is not my friend at the momentTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Not too bad CMD thanks, just working away on an end of today deadline. Boo!
Tried to finish off a few things for JDIJ but got defeated by DIY - bendy planks, off-centre holes, rusted bolts you name it! We managed to get the new worktop fitted, although I ordered one that was 1cm too short, so it's got a bit of a gap at the back that we are hoping tiles will cover _pale_. I was trying to make things nice (and they are a lot better) but still, sometimes you wish you hadn't bothered!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0
