YES. Beccie posted something about procrastination on my thread last week: It takes 15 minutes to really engage with a task, so look at the clock, set a timer, whatever, and make yourself go at the task. 15 minutes later you'll either have finished it already, or you'll be well on your way and won't want to stop til you're done. I've put this into practice a lot and it really works :)

I really like that idea. Must apply it myself Tete!

Max was 3 yesterday so we had a party for him at the soft play in our town. He had a great time and all the important children and adults in is life were there. It was so stress free having it out of the house as well, and way cheaper so swirly Martin for me :money:

I paid another £100 off my OD today. I am hoping to get rid of it before payday in March but if not, payday will get rid of it. Not sure which card to tackle next. The Virgin card is coming to the end of the promotional period at the end of March and the BOI isn't at 0%. I think I might tackle the Virgin because once that gets to 0 they usually offer me a good 0% balance transfer. So it probably makes sense.

I am trying to avoid the lure of holidays at the moment. Everyone around me seems to be booking one but they are my biggest downfall and it will hold me back from trying to get debt free as soon as possible.

Another £100 paid off my overdraft as we were meant to go for dinner and drinks with friends their child is sick so they had to cancel.

Am working from home today as I don't feel great. That is the second cold in 2 weeks. I have booked an appointment with the GP this afternoon as I feel low in energy all the time. I also have pins and needles in my hands a lot of the time and generally feel lacklustre - more physically than mentally. However, my mind never stops racing so that could be causing all my physical ailments :(

Moneywise - we are not doing too badly. I now know OH gets paid on the 25th of the month so I am hopeful we will be able to pay off more of the overdraft around the 25th. I don't want to do it before then as I don't want to leave ourselves short.

I am reading this book at the moment and am finding it excellent:

Woohoo! I am now under 20k! Big milestone for me!!! Next one is under 15k. Won't be able to pay off aymore this month apart from any sales I make fromflogging things. OH is also due money back from overpaid tax so if that is paid to him during April I will be able to pay more off.

I guess April will all be about selling things!

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

My money just went through and I have no overdraft! The first time in years!!! I paid £27 interrest on it last month so it will be great to get rid of that interest.

I couldn't motivate myself to get up off the couch last night and list my buggy after working a day, making dinner and then bathing the kids and getting them to bed (OH was home late). I will try and do it tonight!
