Tesco Misprices Thread 14

I would have just said I only saw the cheaper sel, has happened a number of times, never been challenged/asked as to why I didn't look at the cheaper label. I especially look hard at the phones and kitchen electricals as they often have multiple labels and one might be missed.
Most cs are fine and you won't have to mention dtd they will just offer it, only way to know if your store will is to try it.:D
Thanks so much for your reply. I am quite new to looking for OOD SELs regularly, used to just get a deal when posted on here but now I actively look for them, both hubby and I can't help but look for them now everytime we go shopping
I did say to hubby to get them and just say we only saw the cheaper price but he couldn't be bothered as it was getting late and he wanted to get home for tea!
Next time he will have to wait!
I know the store does DTD as I got it on a book once. The SEL said one thing and a price sticker on the book said something else. It scanned at full price and CS were apologetic and gave DTD without needing to be reminded.
Thanks again, I'll have another look tonite!:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
A sort of misprice but the other way - bought Lindt Wasabi chocolate yesterday, SEL said 91p went through at 45p. No Dtd etc but still a bargain!!0

Nice one :beer:0 -
Bought some assorted chocolatespriced at 60p each or 3 for 1.20. (Kitkat Chunky Original/Mint/Hazelnut/Peanut Butter, Milky Way, Skittles, Aero, etc.) I took 3 and was charged 1.80 so the discount wasn't taken. Not much but if you get DTD it will amount to 20p per item. :beer:0

This was my first try at buying a mispriced item.
In my local Tesco this morning, Bertolli spread 500g with the yellow SEL saying £1.90 BOGOF so I got two which I would have bought anyway at that price, but at the till they went through without a discount, I had seen that the offer date was the 19/02 and that it may have expired and though I'd try my luck. I went to the CS counter, where the woman went to check the SEL and came back with the yellow SEL and said that it had expired yesterday and she'll honour the offer and gave me a £1.90 refund to my card.
I asked about the DTD, she said she honoured the discount and the DTD didn't apply to this, was she correct?Nearly debt free

Nope, she wasn't.
You were overcharged, DTD still applies. Point to their blue noticeboard next time behind the CS counter.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
