The deal is there finest restaurant collection meal deal for £15 but the beef Wellington isn't going thro with the deal! So for me I had the beef Wellington, soft drink apple and elderflower presse. Mash potatoe with truffle oil and lemon tiramisu which in total £20.09 the wines in the offer are more expensive so you could get even more off. I was also lucky as the customer service lady got confused, refunded me £5.90 in cash then £10.18 on my card! Woohoo. I did have issues at CS as she originally was only going to give the error back, I mentioned the sign behind her that says double the diff, and she had the cheek to say the till staff should have noticed and sorted it then, I told her its not really my problem, and that it is still there mistake, she still refused, so I asked to speak to the manager, who she reluctantly called and agreed on the phone she should do the Dtd refund.

Just to be clear it's the beef Wellington that isn't triggering
Thanks so much for this . My DD phoned me yesterday and mentioned she had had the beef wellington meal deal . I said to check her receipt and sure enough it had gone through at full price along with all the other bits and a bottle of prosecco totalling £27.50 for the supposed £15 meal !
Sent her off to Toscos this morning and now shes £25 better off !

last week I was overcharged - had to go back next day as no customer service after 10 pm - when i asked about double the difference the 'cs' assistant told me they dont do that no more -

is there anywhere on their Site where it states this - so I can print out

    thanks

Ring customer services on 0800 505 555 & explain what happened as you were lied to, I think there shut now until 9am. They will either issue a giftcard or will ring the store that refused DTD & give them a talking to, they will then ask you to return to that store for your DTD. This is what has happened when I have had DTD refused.

    Hi all

Once when I complained about DTD not being honoured, I was sent a PDF of the customer services board (my store did not and still does not have one displayed). I will try to attach it here. You can download it to your phone and show it to any trouts who deny the existence of the DTD overcharge policy

  • At Tesco Doncaster Extra CS has covered up the DTD detail on the board behind the desk. I was overcharged for a chicken on Saturday and CS just offered to swop it for a correctly priced one. Stand your ground, as they say, in a firm but fair manner help to educate CS staff on company policy.

Apparently misprices reduce the bonus paid to the "price integrity team" so some stores will try anything to avoid following the DTD policy. The culture of staff ignoring company policy is dangerous for Tesco - staff will also ignore food safety if things get slack.

Sorry if I'm in the wrong place but does anyone know when the Christmas stock is being reduced, it's still just half price in my store and there's loads left. The telescopes and guitars are part of the Christmas gift range and are sure to suddenly drop in price like they did last year. Misprices are getting more difficult to find as scanners are being removed. Annuals 97p in Homeplus stores, still marked at £3.86 despite the fact four members of staff watched and heard me price check at the service counter several days ago, what do the staff do all day? There used to be a Tesco discussion thread but I can't find it so apologies if this is in the wrong post.
