i found the panasonic twin handset today in store..SEL said 49.50 but went through at 99. Customer service refused DTD on grounds of out of date SEL!. Didn't argue as was nearly 4p.m and wasn't sure where I stood.'You see the coefficient of the linear is juxtapositioned by the haemoglobin of the atmospheric pressure in the country..c'mon gajive join the party' :dance:0

I think you should have stood your ground. An out of date SEL is Tesco's fault. A wrong SEL is Tesco's fault. DTD is a policy to compensate for things being Tesco's fault.
An example where I wouldn't (and haven't) held them to account is where items have been put back by customers in the wrong place, or even when staff have maybe put the item in the wrong place (which is easy to do with the varieties of items nowadays).
However, when the ticket matches the item and the price is wrong, that is what I think justifies a DTD claim, regardless of the reason why. Who's with me?0 -

Should have got dtd, I have had many with ood SEL and always got dtd. Phone head office and complain they should send a gift card for dtd.0 -
Thanks for the encouragement...i'll give head office a buzz..doubt i'll get far though as i just handed the item back and asked for a refund. CS was happy to give it to me 'as advertised' at half price..and made it seem like he was doing me a favour'You see the coefficient of the linear is juxtapositioned by the haemoglobin of the atmospheric pressure in the country..c'mon gajive join the party' :dance:0

but they are not taking the discount off. Checked my recept. Shud I take it back?
Yes. And make sure they give you double the discount they didn't take off.
ie if the free item is £3, then Tesco should give you £6 back.
If they refuse, point to the big blue sign behind the customer service member saying that if Tesco make a mistake, they will give you back double what you overpaidWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?
