We had a glorious summer's day here in the morning. Nice and sunny but breezy in the afternoon.
I took my 7 y/o Generalissimo on a 15-18km cycle ride this morning: up to the City, stop for an ice cream, ferry back to the nearest pier and ride home from there. He is utterly exhausted but I am genuinely impressed. There is no way I could have ridden 10 miles at his age!
A slightly odd question for the nice peeps. Does anyone know of a good anaerobic accelerator for composting? I'm using this stuff but it isn't cheap (well actually it is quite cheap but it's not free which is why I ask).0 -

That's the sound of Australia, rain falling on a metal roof. I've come to love it.0 -
Omgoodness, two windows in and the study is Now watertight. It's so WARM....even with the door open to the bits where the breeze is dancing though!
Three more windows hopefully going in today., then, that's it for windows, everything else is doors!

Will the house soon have all its windows and doors, LIR? What luxury! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I've spent my morning fannying about online looking at "things I could make"... but, ultimately, it comes down to two issues [1] actually buying the supplies in and waiting for them [2] DECIDING which of the 1001 things I could make to start with.
So, I need to order in some materials/supplies..... and maybe the decision over what to make should come first, so I am not randomly buying stuff ... but am buying specific stuff to make specific things (sounds like a better plan).
It's nearly chip o'clock and I have fish fingers and chips in the oven.
And ... the biggie.... I need to come up with a name, an identity, for the stuff I make .... that represents what my "point of existing" is .... and even when I find a name I have to check other businesses/blogs to see it's not being used/taken already. That's harder than making the fahking stuff
I'd like to start with chucking up a blogspot thing, where I can randomly whitter and show .....0 -

He basically said it didn't matter so much what your product was, but that it should :-
- cost about £2K
- be small enough to transport in the boot of a car
- be easy enough to demonstrate on site in half an hour
I found it quite bizarre, but he knows best..so...I'm still looking for this magical product0 -
