Been out, now back, with: some pliers, a couple of trowel handles and some glue. Happy days.... they were all on my "to get" list :)

Sunday lunch was a Big Hot Dog, with onions and ketchup, standing in a car boot sale field in the wind.

The best food always needs context in surroundings :)

A cornish pastie in somewhere like Woolacombe when you have been on the beach all day on a biting fresh but rainy day tastes an order of magnitude better than the same item bought in a supermarket :)
  • I am also a non smoker, didnt want to read and run....good luck with the challenge!! I am challenging myself not to spend a penny the whole month on anything other than business expenses :)

You're not going to eat any fresh food except when it's a business lunch/dinner??

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Voila, one succah! It's much taller than most succahs, because the back door opens outwards into it, and the door is around 8 feet tall.

Michaels, please note the use of laurel leaves. Pastures, the roof has to be made of natural substances, and you should be able to see the stars through it if it's not cloudy. No rain forecast until Wednesday :T:T
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Ah I see. That makes your plan a lot more feasible. Good luck with it. :)

Any particular reason for setting yourself a challenge of that magnitude?

Zag, I find genetics fascinating but when I've tried to read about it I find that most books are written at too high a level. Can you recommend something that the non-scientific curious would find interesting? I've tried Steve Jones and Brian Sykes. I managed the latter but not the former.

come and spend a few hours with me. I can do genetics :D
