    £10.50 for RSC http://www.hallforcornwall.co.uk/show/434/RSC%20Open%20Stages%20Showcase/

Plus the cost of fuel/parking, so that's another £10.

    Never been, not interested.

    It's not even "proper Shakespeare"

    Sounds UTTERLY dire.

£20 to watch a load of old sh11te.

    i love you PN

when i was at school, the school used to organise school trips to stratford to watch shakespeare plays. as it was a boarding school and it cost £2 to go, i went, because otherwise you were stuck at school doing homework (or schoolwork as it should have more accurately been called, as you were not at home). plus you could usually sneak a couple of pints in before or during the interval.

however, i just never understood what was going on. basically a load of people standing around talking a foreign language and the audience laughing politely occassionally (whilst clearly not understanding the so-called "jokes").

comedy moves with the times, and shakespeare is not funny anymore. it probably hasn't been funny for a couple of hundred years, and in fact i doubt anyone ever found it funny.

stewart lee is funny. shakespeare is jibberish, and the actors spit on you if you're too close to the stage.

if someone updated the screenplay and put, say, leonardo di caprio and claire danes in the lead roles then i'd probably watch it for at least 10 minutes before going to the bar.

Am I an official matchmaker or has this been done?

i think you win the official matchmaking prize; the chance to act as chaperone on the date.

I'm not good at where most people are .... I'm not a stalker .... too lazy/don't care. Not making notes.

    I know:
    1] Where LIR lives
    2] Where FC123 lives
3] The town (probably) where SSue lives
4] The rough location (within 30 miles) of Davesnave's place
5] Probably the village (unless he moved) of Pobby
6] The rough location (within 50 miles) of Doozer's place
7] That most others are either in London, in Herts, near Herts
8] That Generali is in "Here Be Dragons" land.... south west of the big city (maybe).

I'm 90% sure I could guess at whether people are M/F, but could get some wrong.

What happened to that NP map???

I believe that I am closest, in distance order, to: Pobby, Davesnave, LIR. Rest of you are probably 300+ miles away.

    I am not in Herts.

I am however a tad upset. Tonight a fox took my "spare boy".

The field is full of feathers despite me going out with gloves and a bin bag and attempting to rake them up. The wind helping to distribute them.

I have been thinking murderous thoughts.

Fox took my last Cochins this sping too. I cannot hatch anything because not sure when builders are starting and do not want to have anything cooking or under lamps when they come in...power will almost certainly need to be turned off at a crucial time.

I love cochins, and not seeing any about is really dismal.:(

    Urgent passports

If you need to renew your passport urgently, IPS offers either a:

    fast-track one-week service
    premium one-day service
Both these services require an appointment at a Passport Office. In some cases we may need to take extra time to assess your application, including confirming details you have given and contacting your countersignature.

You should call our advice line to make an appointment on 0300 222 0000.

Wait time is currently about 14 days via the Post Office (Just done DD1’s), so unless it’s urgent, this is the route I’d go down :)

My daughter is collecting a couple of ex battery hens from a rescue later this month. Would something like this help fill the gap? Ex batts are usually very sweet natured. It is lovely seeing them grow feathers and learning to behave naturally.

If you are interested then let me know.
