That guy's amazing, it's like half his body has sunk into the sofa. I have so many questions. Like what is his shirt tucked in to?0 -

A lot of songs of that genre sound very similar. The song in the contest that I thought sounded most like another was the Ukraine entrance, which sounds really like David Guetta.
Here's a compare:

I couldn't put my finger on it on the night.
Ooooh... Loreen's on the sofa! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Cheers Pastures. I missed the intro, so was a bit surprised when I turned over. Shows you don't know where your own prejudices fall I guess. I've never seen anyone like him before and was amazed that someone with so much of his body missing could still live, not only that, but live an amazing life. I have to admit to being a bit gawpy and over-fascinated though. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? No pressure then
I'm not sure what it says about me/ my emotional state, but that made me cry
Glad somebody else saw it that way. All I could think of was "but what if she wanted to say no?" He must have been very sure she wouldn't.PasturesNew wrote: »Male cheer leader on BBC1, has no body beneath his belly. He's going to climb Mount Killimanjaro.
According to this his legs were amputated just below the pelvis because of a genetic condition that made them not grow properly or function. So he presumably isn't actually missing anything except the legs, although his body looks so short that I imagine the condition shortened its growth too.
Must go and get started. My to do list for today has more than 30 items on it, although some are very quick, and others aren't what most people would call list-worthy - like "eat lunch", so I can make time for it without feeling I ought to get on with the list.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Also, I always find it good to have some 'low hanging fruit' on my to do list...then at least there is a good chance of bring able to cross something off!0 -

Absolutely. I'm just finishing off "sync phone with laptop". Quick, but vital, or my calendars don't have all the info in both places and I double book myself or forget to go to things.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? I've been doing some more digging into this. The song that people say Loreen sounds most like is a One Direction song. The intro is extremely similar, almost the same even. However they then go off into different directions, not one direction and don't sound so similar. Just to confuse matters more, when you play the intro from One Direction, it sounds a bit like Dynamite by Taio Cruz, but none of them are actually that alike, but they have bits in common if that makes sense. Then to muddy a bit more, someone's been saying its like a dance version of My Heart Goes On by Celine Dion. I can kind of see that too! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I always liked lists but after my brin broke they became necessary. I had a white board in the bedroom for a long time to enable me.
Things that go on my list sometimes include such basics as 'brush teeth'm because i might forget, and also for the low hanging fruit thing. Its incredibly motivational.
We notice anyway we get loads more done with a list than without.0 -
Today I need to do my Annual Return and finalise expenses for the previous year (tidy up ends that fell into this year). Instead I am watching Homes Under the Hammer. I need a kick up the bottom. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
