I've never worked in a job where they had furreners.
Anyway ... doesn't everybody speak English??
That’s not the point PN
Yes, i do deal with a lot of foreigners💙💛 💔0 -
Financial debate here please.
I’d rather not burden the NPT with hundreds of newbies that wish to debate this, as it’s not what the NPT is for💙💛 💔0 -

Oh no, that's horrible. That would make me feel really sad too.0 -

A dairy cow won't be producing the best meat. If you're going to feed an animal all the feed (and vet bills) it needs to get to the stage you can sell it for meat, there has to be a profit in it. And there's no profit in the meat that type of cow produces. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0

Edit: Just tried to find it and she was 76.... but I also discovered that some kids at the school I went to were murdered by their mother. Not while I was there, recently.0 -

The top 5 first had a 1 day crash course in Turkish, then worked in a Turkish restaurant serving Turkish people.
Then James was put forward from that to learn Arabic. He had to move to London for that at one of England's top Universities.
Six weeks in Jordan and he had to do a live TV interview, in arabic, broadcast to 2 million people. He was fluent, made no mistakes, was relaxed.
I've a pal who's got a gift for languages. he sort of "catches" them the way the rest of us catch colds.
It helped him quite a bit in his job. Actually he had the service of translators and found it better and much more useful to not let on he didn't need them.;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

On certain parts of this planet, no, they don't. The whole of the rest of the galaxy does, though. (Just been watching Star Trek with DS)vivatifosi wrote: »I heard some really sad news tonight. Hugs. What a horrible thing.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Its horrible when places we feel safe and fond about are violated.
Shortly after w moved here there was a rape down our road, i had no idea and felt somehow responsible for not knowing and calling the police. Apparantly the police were in our layby for hours in the night, and i ha no idea at all.0 -
We were talking languages a few nights back and # happened to see this today which might be worth a try.
Sue we are very near UofH so if you are visiting please drop in for a coffee. I also have a colleague who went there (admittedly a few years ago now who I am sure would be happy to advise.
Good tip, thanks. And has anyone tried the mailinator.com website that somebody on that thread mentioned as a "fake" email to divert spam. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
