Today I need to do my Annual Return and finalise expenses for the previous year (tidy up ends that fell into this year). Instead I am watching Homes Under the Hammer. I need a kick up the bottom.

My CTC form is one of the things on my list. But at least I have ticked off 4 items so far, including switching gas/electric tariff. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Hugs Pastures. I know my life is not as alone as yours, but it often feels that I am as alone with my lists as you are, IYSWIM. I really must make progress with this list today, because (a) some of the things have a deadline of today or tomorrow and (b) some of the things I can't do when the kids are around, which means they have to be fitted in on Wednesdays or Fridays.

6 items done now. Am allowing myself to catch up on the NPT after 2 little list items or one big one. :)

    I'm older... I'm probably remembering something from 1990-2000 :)

I went looking again, but instead I found this:

You know you've (Loreen) got a hit on your hands when someone has already made a parody video of your performance. It gets very funny at the end.

Absolutely. I'm just finishing off "sync phone with laptop". Quick, but vital, or my calendars don't have all the info in both places and I double book myself or forget to go to things.

I remember you mentioning this before...

    Is this what you mean?

I just do my windows live calendar and it appears on my fone instantly.

I just added my hotmail to exchange and it just kinda worked.

Not sure if that is what you were looking for before or if you have solved your "new mobile" dilemma you had but it works fine with a Samsung Galaxy Note when I bother to fill the calendar in :o

Surely Friday would be the day for that? :)

I have SO much to do .... but it's overwhelming. Memories everywhere, just me, doing it alone, feeling alone, so much ... everywhere.... and now it's raining too.

    Today's list might just contain:
    1] Make a list.

Lists are great. I try and do one every week. You feel your getting somewhere once you start ticking them off.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't use windows live calendar. It doesn't have the features I want. Specifically, in outlook, I can put things in categories (work, social, domestic, kids etc). I add an extra category "action" to things I need to do something about before they happen - usually booking a babysitter. They then appear in red on my calendar, which is extremely useful to me. Windows live calendar won't do this - or wouldn't last time I investigated it - so I need to sync my laptop's outlook calendar to the phone directly by USB.

9 items crossed off now :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I put cottoneye jojo out in the run with her babies today (also With cheeky and attila, the disabled salveggtionist, one lame, one blind). The babies are hidden in the long grass, but obviously amazed at how big the world is, in the tiny run. I love seeing chickens be mothers, they become amazing.

Vince cable is not representing himslef terribly well in leveson enquiry imo. He seems......out of his depth (which considering the dreadfulness of questioning, again, imo, is pretty poor)

I know there was something complicated about you Lydia :D

Joking aside, I just had a look at the options as they do change a bit...

    Does that help any?

I guess if your used to outlook you won't really want to switch to live.
