I'm really glad to hear that LIR - you more than anyone deserve to have a really good day.

I'm having the opposite, really painful tension headache and I daren't take painkillers as last time I had a headache and took painkillers for a few days they stopped working and it was even worse.
Sshhh, scared to say it in case i jinx it but......

.....i feel rather well today. Pacing myself because so much to do but do not want to burn out, so i keep coming in for breaks. We are just about to have brunch (planned for eleven but we were still doing).

Its a perfect day, though dh says my thermostat is out and its hotter than i think, normally i hate it too hot, today i am fine and happy.

The cats are rolling around in builders rubble, and the fig we just repotted looks four feet taller and proud. We are running behind, especially and we have some of yesterdays stop to chatters in, who want something we cannot give for charity.
    I think....

This is why we shouldn't have public schools so chewie is not too shocked and appalled on having to sit in 'standard' class.

It is horrendous. I am surrounded by people who actually have to go to work instead of spending all day playing baccarat and billiards in the Carlton Club. An outrage.

What do schools have to do with trains?

Good wedding. I got so drunk that I couldn't stand up or see. Birmingham is rubbish though. Even worse, I booked train tickets home for the wrong day so we are now sitting in pleb class and it is like pulling your own teeth out with pliers. How do these people survive?!

I've never found trains from Brum to London that are busy :p

We all deserve nice days. :). Pollen season nearly over michael. Can dw baby ypu a bit? Make sure you ate well hydrated, maybe massage your shoulders and neck?

Can you take a bath with some lavender oil or a nice smell to help you relax a little?

Tortilla! Grated courgette and onion for sweetness. Delicious, and good for packed lunches!
  • Speaking of cooking, I've just baked a pie!

Chicken, tarragon, white wine, spring onion, sour cream and chives.

Should be delicious in about another 30 minutes.

Well, when I say I baked a pie, what I really mean is I stood around in the kitchen with a glass of wine stirring the pie filling, while Mrs McT did all the hard work chopping ingredients, made pastry, swore a lot and got flour everywhere. :)

Not really the weather for it down here today and I am not feeling like eating anything at the moment...but that does sound delicious - especially as you have not ruined it by adding fungi of the devil.

    It is extraordinarily yummy.

And especially good when cold in summertime, for leftovers tonight and tomorrow.

McTavish Manor is a fungi free zone. :)
