Depends how soft your water is. Use a chick pea of shampoo in a hard water area and your hair won't feel washed.
The water here is incredibly hard. We had the guy back to service our Megaflow yesterday, the one who fixed it last year. The scale was so bad that it filled up five sacks. It was over the top of the bottom element. He swears it has never been serviced but in reality it was done just over five years ago.
Our water isn't just hard, it shouts at my shampoo "come and have a go if you think yer hard enough" as I wash my hair. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Someone let one of the cats put this morning, before concrete came in. I am getting a bit worried. ( i had locked them in on purpose).
Then, concrete poured......the power for upstairs has blown, and fridge and freezer. Cooker seems ok, and tv and rputer etc. but cannot get to switch until tomorrow.0 -

Urgh, make us jealous.
On the plus side, hard water is meant to be better for bones and teeth isn't it?0 -

also every sunday i have to go grocery shopping and clean the flat, which are my least favourite things ever, and i definitely have to be railroaded into both, every time.
Cleaning the flat is good for you, as it stops you getting cancer in your man boobs. At least, that's what LIR says.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I argued that this was unreasonable as I didn't want to waste my time cleaning when I could easily afford to pay someone else to do it. My solution was to offer her the money that would have been paid to a cleaner, and not help. This went down well as you can imagine...
c) I was thinking that golf would be more appropriate?
A) i never had this when i used to do this. I don't know why. I had some minor issues, but they always resolved to my benefit.strange person? You live there! She wants you to clean. Her logic is flawed. Essentially our solution is the one you posed to her, but now i find i just cannot do it atm. Dh has pretty much always vacuumed for me, and he has sweet old fashioned ideas like he cleans the loo and does the bins because they are 'man's jobs'. Which is fine by me, but i would also, and do some times do them myself. Last few months our house has just got dirtier and dirtier. I am not meant to bend or lift stuff atm, but i really don't think i am menat to live in a grubby house either.
Golf, surely, is neber the right answer. To anything.0 -

I'm not sure.
We have flouridated water (about half of Severn Trent gets it) so that's the teeth side of the equation covered here anyway.0 -

I initially had the same feeling as your OH on a strange person cleaning the house. OH refused to help and I was quickly persuaded that a cleaner was the answer.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. So .... that bike .... it got an airing. Tyres blown up ... front wheel nuts tightened to hand tight - it felt OK, so I took it to the end of the road.... then down to the beach (it fooled me as it started with a slope, then round the corner were 80 steps so I carried it down).... and off I went...... eventually came back because I'd been there and back ..... and my feet were hurting.
I just meticulously plotted my route on an online pedometer.... and it appears I've done 17 miles. No wonder my bl00dy feet hurt! That's quite a few pedal pushes.
I stopped and picked/ate some blackberries at one point too. I did end up here: http://www.lymington.org/beach/mudefordsandbank.html0 -

You have got me feeling sorry for you. I have never picked up a hint of hen pecked before.
You need to assert yourself.0
