I would never have guessed from your skin you get rosacea problems.

I get the allergy one, from different foods but especially citrus fruits. I can drink orange juice in small doses but can't eat oranges. I will however have the odd satsuma or clementine at Christmas. It is not a serious problem for me, I can keep it under control through avoidance most of the time.
I need to buy socks every autumn, for some reason all but the odd ones go missing over summer. I have to think about that very soon.

Re shoes and problems, dh has had plantar fascitis this summer, and his mbt trainers have been amazing for it. After a few days out of them though, he is sore again.

The only promlem is that his MBTs stink now. At one of the outlet places they can be bought half price, so i might have to go there soon, which is good, a friend has moved near there and i need to visit her.

I have made up a spray of a light solution of nice-smelling disinfectant (Zoflora). I spray this in my trainers at the end of the day and as long as I wear different ones the following day (I have two identical pairs) they smell lovely. Its worth giving them a good spray even if they've already got to the stinky malinki stage. Can they be washed in the machine on a sports shoe programme?

Well viva, you obviously manage your skin very well. i am impressed!

Sadly mbts cannot go in the washing machine....i just double checked on their website. Disinfectant worth a go. He is going to need another pair even if i can sort these, so that he can rotate.

I just love this. The colour the texture everything (was it viva who introduced me to this website?). If i were richer this would be the choice for above my kitchen island. But i need three of them. Three pendant lights, nine of those hanging glistening bubbles of misty river lake colored bubbles would please me no end, but too expensive. I do still think its just wonderful. In the extreme. I want to be that light.

    Amazing sue!

Can ypu call the headquaters of the shoe shop co and tell them? It might well see her recognised.

Most people want to be both helpful and good at their jobs, james enabled her to be so.

That is certainly my intention, still can't get over how intuitive and calm she was with so little information in such a busy store...I think my patience and aura of calm would have cracked by the time we showed up if it had been me working there.

Edit - The company in question is Clarkes.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Having crumbly dry earwax is supposed to cut your risk of breast cancer in half, I gather.

So where do you buy crumbly dry earwax? Do you have a recipe?

I expect it's available in all the most disreputable health food shops as well as the more morally dubious corners of ebay.
