An epileptic and i shared the last of the pills we both needed in the town today. We got about 90 each, so a partial filled sript for each of us. The pharamcist could not believe we were both there at the same time for the same pills. Luck, luck luck. Five minutes later one of us would have been in trouble! (i was actually sent to the pharmacy by boots who ordered the erong pills for me......and i spotted it not them. They phoned around and found these ones, the only ones left in town atm. So technically i had girst dibs i guess. It made sense to split them though.

    ..
I had to traipse round to get my script yesterday. It had two items on it, I laughed and said "typical... I pay" - and she suggested I check if the cream's cheaper over the counter (she said 'about £2.50 if it is'). The quack's on-site pharmacy didn't have the tablets, so I took the whole script to another outlet.... they checked and had the pills, so I asked about the price of the cream and the script price was £7.55 for 30mg, the over-the-counter price was £5.40 for 15mg, so it made more sense to stick with the script.

The worst case I've come across recently was when my old was allowed to run out of c/ostomy bags because Boots didn't stock them ... and the home found this acceptable to wait for them.... trouble was, the old had only told them the day the last one was used. The old thought they'd just bring more; the home took this as meaning the old would soon need more (not right now).

Uh-ho ..... luckily I was visiting and twigged the process errors and got the home to phone round. They'd told my old to "let them know when she needed more" - and the old had taken that literally and asked when the last one was used - and this coincided with it being a bank holiday too. So now I've put the instruction in place to order the next box each time a new box is open - so there's always one on back-order, which should arrive 1-2 weeks before needed. Not something you'd want to run out of!!

Absolutely and if you do get them at least I will have been forewarned and can make nice comments like "they look better in the flesh" rather than "where on your list are new lights".:D

You could probably keep an eye out for something cheaper in plain glass.... then paint the glass yourself with thin nail varnishes or a spray paint. :) For about £10.

I guess you'd already dismissed this one, a snip at just £1097.85 http://www.voltex.me.uk/jacaranda-trio-voltolina-pid2125.htm

Its the blown texture that i love as much as those very me colours. The imperfections make it perfect.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)
