Doesn't sound to bad to me at all. You earn well because you put hours in.....six hours in three days aint bad at all imo.

That said we are LOVING dh having had four and a half days off....no emails, no phone calls, like a proper person work ended when the work day ended last week. its really restful...though a bit weird.

We have decided to book a holiday before things go back to normal, because we will probably actually get it. We are a little torn between two places though, so not sure which to go for yet. :D

I've had about 50 emails over the weekend and several calls from my manager who is in the office today. Rubbish. Luckily I spent most of the weekend incapacited by alcohol so all of my answers were unhelpful and incoherent.

Not all good. The trip into the office got me a parking, and I’ve earned nothing today :(

Already posted on the parking charges board to try and get out of that one :)

But that is the nature of business ownership and self employment. You might not have earned, but you won't have lost.

I think with the income it comes as suck it up for now, because you have more choices than most and more still later.

They did ask me - in fact they asked for all ages and I gave out all except DW (well trained) although I can never even remember mine so have to work from DoB and date.

I was more wondering whether they'd even asked!

When I was a ski bum and some of the other ski bums were getting old (one was 30:eek:) he used to say you are only as old as (the chalet girl) you feel.

    Me too.

Especially if I am sharing it with someone aged about 25 and they are happy to share theirs with me

Once I leave the office that is my and my families time - no wonder I earn so little :)

WE just set the temperature and it comes on whatever the time of year (although when it gets hot we probably should turn it off so it doesn't heat up the house pre-dawn.
