I'd settle for an upholstered headboard if it were in Designers Guild Moyka

Random wallpaper behind could jazz it up a bit as well?
The thing with upholstered head boards is head grease _pale_. Or hair product staining. Makes me feel queasy.:o
But, its too good an offer to turn down0 -
is there a reason why the australian medal showing is so poor this time?
The sports they do well at are similar to the ones we do well at, except they are waaaaaaay better at swimming. This time round they've been trounced by the Americans in the swimming, and the less said about the rowing and cycling the better...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Is it a divan base with detachable headboard? In which case could you use the bed and replace just the headboard with a wooden one or something that wouldn't absorb stuff? Or is the headboard structurally part of the bed as a whole? That would be more of a nuisance. [ETA Sorry for X-posting.]
When first married, we had a bed whose headboard broke, so we used the bed without one for a while, only to find that dye from our dark blue pillowcases had gradually transferred into a dark shadow on the wall where they'd been in contact.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

How about a removable cover for it in an exciting fabric such as Doozer has suggested, that you could take off and wash every so often? Probably completely impossible to do in practice, but I am just trying to be open to possibilities, and the problem with hanging towels over the headboard is that they might fall on your face in the night and wake you up.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Actually, that is a pretty great idea. Wrapped round and fastened with velcro maybe. Hmm, will have a look at how i could do that.
I love the nice peoe's practicality!0 -

I turned to C4 to see the buttock lady, but it is Undercover Boss about Stena Lines.
However, imagining LIR and FIR flailing about at night under towels is suitably amusing. :rotfl:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
