I'm suprised no ones tried to get around that, by the fact McD's don't sell chips. They sell fries, which are much thinner & crispier than chips. Two totally different products IMHO
Exactly! It's mad. The portions of everything else were pretty much grown up size, so the kids either shared something like cod and chips (£8.10 without drink) which was allowed, or went without, or more likely, got fed sweets instead. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I've given a lot of thought to your requirements and the one I wouldn't bend on if I was you is being detached. That way, no matter how noisy your neighbours, its your own little bit of space.
Or alternatively this one, in the same area. There are quite a few similar properties around here and they tick many of your boxes:

The only downside was that there were a lot of kids there who just wanted a portion of chips, but they couldn't buy them as McDonalds had a monopoly on chip selling at the Olympics. This is in spite of the fact that there wasn't a McDonalds outlet in Wembley Stadium. Stupid...
The Olympic Stadium has the largest McDonalds in the World. Apparently they do this every Olympics and then dismantle it after the Games.:rotfl:
You should have seen the queues when I was there last week :eek:0 -

When I visited Berlin after the wall came down, it was fascinating. I had a burger in the West Berlin burger bar that all the east Berliners queued up to eat at when the wall came down.
Made me wonder if they got disappointed when they sat down and realised they were just eating a minced meat sandwich. And washing it down with a carbonated vegetable drink which tasted pretty much like Pepsi (which they already had in the east)
Meat sandwich companies need to get a grip on their position in the grand scheme of things. Banning rivals isn't a healthy way to promote products and generate a positive vibe.
Also they could try making better chips/fries/whatever they want to call them. BK don't seem to have any problem making tasty ones IMHO (and does anybody remember Wendy's - there used to be one in Richmond, Chewie). There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
