I've been googling ..... for entertainment. Could be packing, but CBA. I'll do it in the morning in a panic instead.
I was looking for interesting courses re my interest. Found one, but it starts tomorrow - and is 200 miles away and costs £330.... so for many reasons that's not going to happen.
Looking forward to starting to get my life a bit more settled and rebuilding an income (being able to earn enough to afford rent on a shared flat without continually dipping into savings for everything I spend is my first goal)...
Maybe I'll be past that point before Xmas and can book something next year.
One thing that I have absolutely realised is that a flat is absolutely no use to me whatsoever.... and it's absolutely and definitely a house for me. Once I move into flat-shares I will definitely be missing the instant/easy outside access you get with a house - and the instant wandering in/out of a back door you can do. Not to mention a driveway and parking .... and room to leave stuff outside and do stuff outside without consideration for others.... from smoking to cleaning the car, hanging washing through to enjoying hobbies that have mucky/cleaning/water aspects to them.0 -

Oh. I have a friend who lives in that area. I thought it was alright when I went to visit her a couple of years ago. I must have lower standards! :rotfl:
:T:T:T
Milan is small, portello is on the sort of outer ring of what can be consiodered ' milan', like London to greater london but on a smaller scale. Sort of richmondy, other side would be ham or kingston, or, as its out near fiera /san siro, maybe wembly, or sort of excel.
Because we had a few places in milan i got to know some of those areas. Our second furthest out flat was in a posher area, but....the arris end of it (the directions we gave friends was, in the private road opposite the sex shop and round the corner from blockbuster,
Dh has the most gorgeous studio for a while above a roof in duomo, his view was madonina, and we had another right by la scala, which i adored, it was the almosy perfect one person/ two person metropolitan pad.....thoughthe kitchen was lacking, so we met up with friends more often to eat out..
If we had to return though i would almost certainly opt to get a place down in navigli. Its not for everyone, but its the nightlife we prefered to the 'swankier' brera, very musically and current arts, lots of street hawkers and tat markets, and a few arts ones through the year.0 -

Hmm, i made a dodgy move in the car (thought the car i was overtaking had parked, after sitting behind it for a while wondering...it was one of those could be either situations, and no view to the front to see if it were occupied) and got called a t055er so i guess they thought i was no nice person.:D0 -
