Did you manage to work out her number and give her a call?
I might do it, but, frankly, I'm feeling all unloved about it0 -

Pastures, maybe she has lost her diary, or forgotten that it was her diary that she wrote it in, or something. Please call her. I know it will be hard for you, but take a deep breath, imagine all the NP egging you on, and phone her with some nice non-confrontational question like "just calling to see how things are at your end".Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Good job I know you're joking(edit - about the texting)
I vote for giving her a quick call - Lydia's suggestion of something along the lines of 'just calling to see if there was any news' is great. Be prepared for it to be a no, try not to take it personally if it is/ brilliant if its not. I'd take myself to somewhere where no-one can hear me (or not too many people are walking past - chances are you'd never see them again anyway). And what I would be telling myself to make me go for it (I have to push myself with things like this too) is that I would always be wondering 'what if she'd just lost her diary' etc etc. Better to find out definitively, and be able to move on... or hopefully in!
Otherwise, you just have to get looking again0 -
I would call too, she is probably just a little disprganised.0

Just spoken to 'the Banks'.... says I sound perfect, not bothered about my job/lack of. Seeing it Thursday. Moving in date dovetails precisely with my having to leave here.... except maybe I might have to loiter all day long with the car full of stuff as he's probably going to say he's at work all day.
So .... looks like a good 'un.0 -
If that doesn't deserve a POSH ALERT then I don't know what does.
Does that mean we can't do vicarious house hunting on your behalf any more?PasturesNew wrote: »Just spoken to 'the Banks'.... says I sound perfect, not bothered about my job/lack of. Yes it might do .... see how it goes
You can ooh and aah over any "view from my room" photos I might take though, which is just as interesting.
Anyway .... chickens/counting ... and water/bridge ... and other various sayings.... so... until Thursday....
