I was going to text: UR RM 4 MI?
You could just text and ask outright...she can only say no afterall..
Well, our are now in the midst of Olympic run up but it's more like we are prepping for an invasion or are having a war.
Army (fully armed with big guns ) everywhere including on nippy little James Bond style boats on the river, the continual sound of sniper fire from rifles etc from the site.....the sound really travels. No machine gun sounds so I guess they don't use AK 47's to compete.
The horse guards are out an about and the traffic lights have been changed so we all sit in queues for aaaaaages. It's beginning to wind us up a teeny bit.
What with the anti aircraft guns sited around the corner with 24 hr armed guards...(though that's more to do with the fact that they would get wheeled away and sold for scrap if they weren't guarded rather than fending off attack) it's all a bit different.
we have got our CPZ permits though but the council are going to make a mint during the games.....all us locals driving and pulling up outside shops out of our zone etc.0 -

Moving in date dovetails precisely with my having to leave here.... except maybe I might have to loiter all day long with the car full of stuff as he's probably going to say he's at work all day.
So .... looks like a good 'un.

:rotfl::rotfl:UR RM 4 MI ok does that mean ''You are room for me?''
You could just text and ask outright...she can only say no afterall..
Then nothing.
Text UR RM 4 MI would translate into: Hello, I've not heard from you regarding your room and I wondered if you were considering picking me to be your lodger. Thanking you in anticipation. All the best ....0 -

There is a fox outside.
Near cottoneye jojo, cheeky, artila and the babies. This is NOT cute.big dog and dog dog are 'working' and pink whistley (who was uncharacteristically not heard over the weekend) is sitting on the top of the roof swearing at them all. If that fox minds a feline expletive he will not be back.0 -
No guns, missiles, sniper fire, guards, permits or nuisance where I am0

The latter.
Foxes are beautiful, beautoful creatures, I love them. But they have no place in my garden. One did well out of us this spring, and we will be watchful over late summer and autumn, i suspect a vixen reared cubs in one of the hedgerows.
Its terribly sad of course, but they cannot stay.0
