Should we be upset? If it turns out to be a problem we can just give pn a few quid and decamp over there.
However, I could turn the whole domain over to a new bit of software (like the stuff used here) if push ever comes to shove.
Current system is unwieldy and awful.0 -
Anyway ... house buying process. No rush .... it seems.... I thought we were pretty much "good to go" as of 6 days ago and felt guilty as being unable to turn the paperwork around immediately, dropping it off last night. But a new visiting man was requested and he's been and he's in no rush to type up what he saw (no problems) .... and somebody with a bigger job will get ahead of us in the typing queue.... so there might be a further week's delay before the "E" day. On the other hand, I've no idea how important the visiting man's word is to the process...
An efficient system could have shaved 2 weeks off this process.0 -

Push and shove, there are grumpy, jealous people on other threads waiting to decamp!

For a kitchen, you can pretty much do everything, so long as you have a sink/hot water with: a Lidle mini oven for £30, a fridge. Put the mini oven on top of the fridge. You can even do most of the washing up outside if you had to .... people who are camping do that all the time and it is summer.
Smallest separate kitchen I ever had was a baby belling oven, next to a small sink, with a fridge in front of the sink. On top of the fridge was a kettle and a toaster. Then there were 2 open shelves.0 -
