If missk is around this morning, I hope that your head is ok and that you managed to get a good night's sleep.
Can you go see the adventure playground's manager and speak to your local councillor for the body responsible for it? If they aren't going to manage the space, they should lock and close it when they aren't there. There's a duty of care both to the kids and you, which doesn't involve allowing the throwing of rocks from the premises. They are the ones that have the power to sort it out. I'd also lay money on the fact that the youth organisers will know who the perpetrators are, even if they can't prove it.
I'm off for a long work stint now and may not be around again until tomorrow, but please don't let this one go.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

It’s great really!

Yeah, but not my camera.0 -

Just spoken to OH about the camera on my iPad. I took this photo earlier (I’ve left the apps over it for personal reasons) and I’m amazed by how clear it is.
Anyone found the same?
CK
Agree. Unbelievably clear on the ipad and takes clear video too.
Then you see photos taken on the iphone 4S and the ipad pales in comparison.

I’ve just given my 3GS to my niece, and she was saying that the camera’s better than her BlackBerry.
I’ve got the 4S atm, and it generally makes having another camera useless!
The pic in question is DD2 (and I’ll be taking the link out when I know that all the NP have seen it), and the close-up range is good, too!💙💛 💔0 -
Third attempt at this message - annoying mousepad seems to take some mouse movements as a 'gesture' that means you want to go 'back' a page on the browser.
CK I think posting p the screen shot rather than the original image has led to it looking a bit 'stretched - at least on my monitor. DW has the posh sony phone and it takes much better photos than the supposedly higher res digital camera, haven't really tried to see it it out performs the video camera on videos as well yet. One problem though is that photo files for a single photo seem to have got too big too email now
MsK we are all thinking of you and ~I hope you are able to pt this aside and not dwell on it. It should be something for your neighbourhood police team to sort out and if you contacted the police they should probably contact you. As most of us know first hand from having been there and done that, there is something about being a teenager in a group of your peers that makes you behave like a scroat even if actually almost all the those in the group wold behave very nicely when on their own. I guess luckily the majority also grow out of it. I'm not sure if you grew up in this country so you may not come from a culture where teenagers almost all rebel to some extent?I think....0 -

I don't even know if there is a manager! I can enquire but really I live next door to it and don't want actual rocks through my windows and rubbish in my garden
I can complain to the local councillor I guess but not sure what anyone can do about it except make me look like a s**t stirrer.

Missk, you. Might not be white or born here but you are very iintegrated, more culturally in tune at least here in the np thread than manynwho might be white and born here. Imo people like you are the very image of what i want from my multicultural country . Please, please report this in all ways you can.
It might be nothing to do with rascism of course, it might be because you were a woman, or just because of who they are not who you are. But we, the nice peoe of this corner of uk unite in saying we back you.0 -

OH's missing luggage has been found. It is now on the way back to the UK, as is he. But from different airports. Hoping they find a way to reunite at heathrow, he won't be happy to have to go back to get it tomorrow!
In the meantime he has bought essential clothes and toiletries which he can claim back, but also USA laptop charger and ipod/ ipad charger that won't be much use.Plus the annoyance of being away without your luggage.

If there is any chance that they were school kids, I would complain to the headmaster. Even without knowing the culprits the head should be sending out the message that this behaviour is unacceptable.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
