    Accommodation idea for PN.

DS has just moved into a university hall that is open over the Summer and allows you just to book in for the Summer. He had to request that he be put with other students as the Halls are open to anyone and a lot of non-students use them as a Summer base. The accommodation office say people come in groups like ramblers, friends visiting other cities etc. Often people come alone just looking for short term accommodation.

Don't know if you are near any universities PN, but may be worth looking. The cost generally includes fast internet.

Madam's booked accommodation is a lovely hotel, withh swimming pool, until the end of the month .... as one does when one's important.

Got offered a great deal, almost cheap enough to live there full-time :)

Room/en-suite + brekky ..... slashes 1/3rd off the price. Who'd have thought a daily sheet/towel change could have made so much difference.

    *does the not-quite-homeless dance*

Downsides are: no access to a kitchen, or washing machine.... so I'll need to buy some new clothes. Round-trip to the rest of my stuff will be about 20 miles. So that's not too shabby if I suddenly have an urge to extract something out of a box.

I am near a Uni, and I had looked for such accommodation, but it's never revealed itself. Now I've got something immediately sorted I can have another look.... although, theoretically, I should be able to find something more permanent before the end of the month.

So, will this be the area you intend to settle in?

Edit: 180 miles due East of Perranporth seems to be the Isle of Wight. Very nice.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Up a bit, left a bit.
Where's Bernie with the bolt when you need him?

And yes... that's the plan. To stay there forever..... with access to stuff, things, services, events, etc etc. Life....

I fell for a girl that didn't eat curry, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, because she was prepared to date a bloke that smoked. cool-smiley-007.gif

Now, there's almost no restriction on what we eat, except she won't touch liver, and I find some of her vegetarian stuff is only acceptable with added sausage, if you'll pardon the expression. ;)

No one's allowed to smoke anywhere near us though!

Sorry I can't be terribly nice ATM. Will be back more after DD's wedding.

Meanwhile just popping in to tell Jelly that I have edible tomatoes! :p:D

I have only yesterday noticed I have tomato flowers appearing, but not yet open!argh.gif

I sometimes think about where I would move to if I could go anywhere. But I can never decide as I like different places for different reasons.

Where and why would each of you choose, or would you stay just where you are now?

Seeing as everyone is on about the weather, does any one access reliable(ish) advance weather forecasts?

Are we still going to be having excessive rain in 3 weeks? Is this month a washout already? What about next month?:(
