I dunno if you need it for the CIs. But I suspect you might. Or maybe health insurance.

The Isle of Man has an NHS, like the 3 GB nations' NHSs and the NI equivalent service. I think they had a deal which they tried to keep renewing; don't know the current status. Googling comes to mind.

    But the CIs?

Actually as the they probably have cheap ciggies and booze, they might not be able to afford an NHS.

But maybe bring lots of bags/cases!

Sounds lovely, your own private shop and no need to pay as there would be nobody there to see you.

I suppose you would want your laptop, though, to keep in touch with the nice people?

i would leave money at the tills (or equivalent barter goods), i am not a thief (although i'm not using those automatic tills, that's for sure).

As chewie like myself is a former biotechnologist, we must imagine genetically-enhanced apes doing all the work people might do.

But they'd have to be sleep-deprived, to cancel their intellectual enhancement and stop them wanting to hold intelligent conservations with the customers which would slow everything down.

I've found some dangerously amusing moments in this programmme on iplayer tonight For the win.

you wouldn't need to intellectually enhance chimps to work in a supermarket, they'd be the most intelligent staff there.

    I happen to know some not-so-dumb supermarket [STRIKE]chimps [/STRIKE]:(

    Edit: can't call them that

people could restock it during the day, as long as they weren't there when i wanted to go shopping at 2am it would be fine.

I've just got back from shopping, as although it's my day off, I still have to work (it's busy, I'm not moaning) :(

Trolleys everywhere, although I did see a friend that I haven't seen for about 3 years, who used to own the cab firm we own now, before we did

Never thought she'd be working in Tesco's, but as she said, it pays her bills.

Slightly OT, Does anyone know the best flashcard/cart to enable an NDS/lite to play MP3s?

And while you are at it - is it worth paying 300 quid more to get an induction hob?

I love my induction. You do have to make sure your pans will work on it though :) cooks just as well as gas and child safe ;)

Go to a kitchen shop to try it out but we bought a basic neff. The only thing I would change is to get one with a steel edge so you won't crack the glass easily. (which we did :o)

i'm really enjoying the great british summer. sigh

and my cheesecake failed. It was too wet when I put it in and I knew it was too wet. I should have added more gelatine but I thought I would go with the recipe. So now it's in the freezer and hopefully it will be serve-able.
