Yes,for all the reasons raised, and a coue more, this is what i want to do. Its just very difficult to turn down money atm! Despite the half price issue i would need three normal clients to equal this one. But that also means if this one left i would lose a lot over night. There are other reasons its a poor compromise i think.

Sounds like it could cause trouble to me - as existing client knows what the other person is prepared to pay, and so would know that they are paying more. Would you be able to charge the potential client less, but in return for less? I would be inclined to wait and see what turns up through advertising.

How would you feel about missing out on this client and not being very successful through the ad?

Agree! Not worth the hassle. Hold out for something better.;)

Arrrghhhh.... anyone else frustrated with Rooney? He's playing under par and a lot of crosses have gone unconnected due to the bunch of short-ars*s in the box. I think we need Andy Carroll.

I agree with the others. It's very hard to make back money once you've discounted your rates and it can take years. One of my clients, I dropped my rate 25% and never managed to get it back up with them. I could do that because I had no comparable client who could find out and say "well you do that for them at x".

As I don't know what it is you are selling, could you offer something else to help keep the customer. For example:
    * They work with someone more junior at a lower rate, who you can bring in and take a fee from.
    * You offer 50% off but for 1 month only and in response for a full price deal for the rest of the year.
    * You arrange to school them and a friend for 1 and a quarter times the fee, so they are paying out something like 62.5% of previous single person fee each.

In other words, is there a way of structuring a deal that they would find attractive but which would not upset your other customers?

Well, Carroll isn't scoring either. One of the more even quarters so far

It's very disappointing. Whoever wins this very scrappy game is likely to be knocked out by Germany if they carry on playing like this. It's hard to see anything over than a Germany Spain final.

Do you support a team missk?

    Not really :)

Extra time. Well, whoever faces Germany will be exhausted so will get walked over. Someone better score now as the pain of penalties is too much to bear

Belly full of hot pie ... and chips ... and mushy peas...

Cooked double chips, on the basis I'd set half aside for microwaving tomorrow.... it didn't happen. Somehow they all ended up on my plate, then in my belly :)

Changed into super-loose leggings for comfort - and can hardly moooove.

To put a quantity to it .... 500grams of chips :)
