Attach either a GPS chip to it, or one of those keyrings that beeps when you whistle :)

I know dialling it only works if your battery's full ... and it's within 50 feet of where you are.
PN, apart from thinking about iphones did you ever get an upgraded phone as discussed back earlier in the thread. DD has finished her exam, and wants a smartphone. The other threads claim this Huawei Ascend G300 is the bees knees at £100. It's stuck on Vodaphone PAYG for three months apparently; she wants to stay with her tesco network.

Our local high street seems to have loads of stalls that say they unlock phones - has anyone ever had that done? Does it work, or does it ruin the phone? :o

And for phones is there any advantage to buying from the company's store or an online provider like amazone etc., as the price looks the same?

It usually works, the problem is if it doesn't work you have no comeback.

Most phones sold by the carphone warehouse are unlocked.

The other option is seeing if Tesco phone shop sell it.

My sister has the Huawei Blaze and is very happy with it.

Completely with you on that Hamish, absolutely brilliant. Hardly a lap without some incident, overtake, pit lane confusion or other event. Well worth catching on the beeb if no Sky. I may have to reconsider my views on the track that Mark Webber first said was like "driving round Tescos car park".

Won't say anything more though because I know there are a lot of people without Sky so no spoilers...

My brother had astroturf at his old house but it wasn't particularly sandy. However he kept an old Henry hoover and when the neighbours were out there with their Flymos, he was out with Henry hoovering up the dirt and keeping it nice looking. As he lived in a townhouse and so was overlooked by the neighbours' living rooms it did attract the occasional odd look, especially from those that had no idea that it was astroturf.

Ooops, sorry. I had a conversation with a colleague at work who said he thought it wasn't and I have defected to Sky so don't watch the beeb at all and didn't know.

So I can scream YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO from the rooftops afterall!

I've heard good things about that phone. Apparently it is about 73 quid delivered from Very.co.uk with a new customer code and can be unlocked for £5 via ebay.

Had my 'lil' bro over for lunch today and his DW did 4 hours of playing with the kids whilst he helped me carry a sofa upstairs and into the bedroom (contrary to our expectations with the door off and three people pushing and pulling it was able to get in to the room)
