I feel weepy.
Too many dramas atm and my hormones are on their upwards crescendo. I think this sort of thing is worse when you do not work, because often your own problems are less easy to put i perspective. I don't mind being eccentric, but i do not want to become nuerotic.0 -
I've seen this link on another thread- it's for a Vectone roaming bundle and it's cheap. But the reviews are iffy.

Another option is Vodafone Passport, which also works in Croatia. You pay 75p to connect the call, then the rates are the same as in England. Of course though, that works best if you want to make fewer calls. For longer. My fil died when we were in Australia and it was really handy to have as we had to make lots of long calls back. In terms of incoming, you can call him on the UK number, it will cost 75p to take the call but can talk for up to an hour for that. 11p per text.
Ours were contract, but PAYG info here:

It's probably not the cheapest, but its a known quantity. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Best if you google "callserve" or "abroadband". Giffgaff may be useful too. CK probably knows a thing or two about this. What countries might he visit?CKhalvashi wrote: »I'm with Orange, however pay Skype a tenner a month to have cheap/free international calls.

He's not taking a smartphone, so don't think that is going to be an option. Usually when he is away we only get sporadic calls, but the kids he's away with call each other constantly.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Ah, also worth mentioning.... A lot of students bring their netbooks into libraries for the free wifi. I know that this is available in other European countries through libraries but can't say which. Also some train stations on the continent offer free wifi.
Here's a link that may be useful..

How things have changed since I Interrailed. That involved phoning home very occasionally from public phone booths and sending the odd post card. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I vote the house goes to PN and the car goes to Sue. The garden makeover has to be for MsK.
Sounds good to me!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
