Some men can read....ex hubby read as much as me! It was a joint passion.
Eldest's last exam yesterday too (of his original A levels, he still has more to go next year), he thinks it went quite well but even with using the laptop, his fingers were dislocating by halfway through and were out of action last night as they were so stiff. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Grr, blooming Natwest.....I don't bank with them but ex husband does and maintenance is due today!
At the moment, I have £11 to my name and need fuel, the boys need money for school related items and we have been living out of the freezer for most the week anyway as this week is a very short week as it is!
Think it may be a plea to bank of mum and dad if today ends and nothing arrives.
I'd actually forgotten that the useless one paid you maintenance!
I know lots of people are still having problems, but my NatWest account is working fine, as is my RBS one.
If he went into a branch of NatWest and explained, he should be able to draw out up to £300 over the counter and he could then pay it in to your account.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm guessing you already know that nothing has arrived but from what I can tell, most people's accounts are back up and running today. Hope he is amongst them0 -
Yes, the useless one does pay maintenance..thanks to his mother.
I really can't see him putting himself out on my behalf though, he would only go to the counter and get money out if he needed to for himself! His view would be 'tough'.We made it! It appears that quite a few are still affected going by the threads in the banking section.
Either that, or he is narked about fathers day.....We made it! Yes - he should be able to do this. And there are 1000 or so branches which opened late last night and early this morning (perhaps they will stay open later again tonight if the probs are continuing) so being at work isn't an excuse0 -

I had a proper massage treatment this morning and feel absolutely great. If i won the lottery i would have massages every, single day of the week. Maybe twice some days.0

the only issue is that his salary might not have been credited to his account, in which case he may not be able to draw any money out by any means.0
