Well so am I.......but we will be fine, if things get a bit too eek, I do at least have the option of speaking nicely to my parents and then paying it back when it does finally arrive in my account.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Sorry Sue, looking back that was perhaps badly worded. Hopefully you know how it was meant :o

No worries, no offence taken here, think I got the jist of what you were trying to say.

I feel sorry for those who do not have an alternative source of money over the weekend, at least if things become eek here, I can at least be tided over by my parents and I do at least have meals planned and food already purchased for meals upto and including tomorrow night and other bits and pieces in my freezer which could be made into a put together meal for Sunday (whether youngest will eat it is another matter, he has become somewhat obsessed with certain food types just recently!)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have been playing life whackamole all this week, with big and not so big things going round in circles, solved a big one today, then an almost as big one arises this afternoon. I am frustrated and cross and need another massage now.

This weather and the agricultural contractor combined have potentially cost me about £5000k. :(. Thats a huge sum for a small agricultural business, but more so, its the failure to form a reliable working relationship with someone. The WEATHER cannot be helped. The contractor.....is now being replaced. Its SO hard to get contractors here, because we are an awkward size, to small to be really profitable, and too big to be a very quick job, so we are bottom feeding for contractors as it is. :(.

    Oh no! :(

I hope you don't really mean £5000k - that would be £5 million! £5000 or £5k is bad enough though. I think most households and small businesses would find that pretty disastrous.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

I've not even got my stuff in from the car (got the bulk of it), nor actually paid my rent here (nor even got it from the cashpoint).... and I am too tired/exhausted to even go and get instant food ..... beyond that I plan ... to do .... noooottthhhhinnnnggg... for days probably.

I said to LL I'd offload and get money, but the LL's cool about it as they know I'll have it, so the LL's said "tomorrow". S'all good. Nice things happen to nice people. I have history here, so a "known quantity".

    Grrrr.

Doing my green paint stripe and the masking tape has pulled off the wall paper. Its reparable, but ma
Ost sensible by having no zingy green stripe, because now the paper is ripped i cannot get a 'clean' place to stock the masking tape. Hurumph.
