Too much if its to use once as a novety item. Reasonable in the extreme if it becomes your main bag for a few years imo.

My main bag atm was in a sale, cost 25 half price, beore we bought here. Its going strong, so i am more than happy.

I refer you to the short term rule that there is a thread for that stuff and this one is about chewmyleg offs relationship and why he won't marry the poor girl.

Chewy, we can convert this into a meetup if you like, the nice women can hound you for her. Would she come to a meet up? Hmm, does she know about 'us'?

Incidentally, how many peoples families do know about your online lives? The other day my father asked me how i knew someone and i said, well, i 'll tell you later...still haven't. He would think it was all very dodgy and flakey.

She might well come to a meet up for that purpose, but I certainly wouldn't!!

Only OH. Parents don't understand, I showed them some photos on their computer by going on my facebook page and they keep asking me to explain why I liked Tesco.

I agree with this. So 48 hours later and I have read the Hunger Games trilogy. Very enjoyable too :D

I have an old one of that make of car (as in the end of the old type of numberplate). I've driven it from new, it still works, rarely breaks, so I don't see any reason to replace it. The worst bit is it has a cassette player. If there's no decent radio station, I have to revert to either a talking book from the library or my 1980s mix tape.

Get yourself a copy of the audiobook version of "Speaking with the Angel" a short story collection compiled by Nick Hornby. I discovered it in my local library when I only had a cassette player and drove my car for half the day to work (or so it seemed).
But don't play it in front of passengers!
The stories are by Roddy Doyle, Zadie Smith and Irvine Welsh. It's for an autism charity but I didn't know that when I borrowed it and found out later on. It's a quality bit of work!:T
My next week's car journeys are going to be filled with the BBC remake of the Marx Brothers "Flywheel,Shyster and Flywheel":D

Do any other NPs drive a diesel or gas car (or other non-petrol fuel). Does it make a big difference?

Shouldn't you just have your OS and program files on SSD and use something bigger and slower in RAID for your data files?

I have just spent £260 + on a couple of SSDs, so I can have RAID1 SSDs on my PC. That's more than I spent on the PC originally, IIRC, but it should speed it up nicely. I'll keep you posted.

DW has loads of bags and tends to rotate but annoys me by not emptying the old one before starting another one and thus leaving lots of potentially useful bits and pieces somewhere in a huge pile of handbags only to be discovered when 'do you know where your passport is' type question is asked at which point all sorts of high value (to us) out of date vouchers etc appear :(

Just thinking (remembering) those days when one could spend a couple of days just reading if one fancied it. I actually try and chose books now that I won't really get in to to remove the temptation of reading them anywhere other than on the train as that would be time that should be spent doing something else.

I have just finished assembling the built in desk unit in the new study/dining room and then moved the PC from the lounge in - takes a long time and I can't believe how many wires are involved, especially as this is an old part of the house and hence no cat 6 Ethernet cable so am on home-plugs.

We have 2 of the same model of car, the petrol generally does low 20s mpg, the diesel does 36 and has more power and torque.

It's unbelievable what a change having kids has on your ability to read books. About 10+years ago I switched to audiobooks when commuting and childcare took over my life.

I found loads of good websites for stories for kids but realise that not many of the NPs has kids under secondary school age.
