I'm going out tonight ..... you know those cheap/local clubs where fat, red-faced skivers, dole scum and grimy working people hang out over a few cheap snooker tables and a cheap bar?

Welcome to my big night out.

    Halves at £1.20 :)

For your extra visual input .... I'm going with a random neighbour and her alcoholic and rude OH, and she'll moan about him (and be grateful for somebody to talk to) ... and he'll be on the pool tables out of the way of "chattering women" ... until he's p155ed enough to grunt at her "home" before striding off ahead of her and without a backwards glance.

These are typical experiences for me "going out", which is why I stopped bothering a few years back.

    .. BUT ... it's OUT!!!

If you want to go any cheaper PN, I recommend sticking to orange cordial, generally less than 50p a glass.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I used to do that .... you get some really dire results though :)

Not everywhere does it cheap though - when I used to do it, it was 30p/glass where they did it cheap, but many places actually charged the same as a half for it.

There's also a limit, you've a choice between orange squash or lime cordial... neither of which are great tasting.

I can afford the extra, I onlly plan to have one half.

Shouldn't have done it, the patterned wallpaper didn't conceal the lumps and wrinkles, but the plain paint is accentuating them!

Michaels.....serve with melted butter having boiled them lightly in salted water, scrape flesh off with teeth, let butter drio on to lips then lick the drip of butter of dw's lip.......

    I love globe artichokes ;)

Melted butter sounds good but we may stick with vinaigrette, melted butter all over DKs is probably not the romantic picture you were painting.

Still at 29p for 2 down from 1.90 it would have been rude to leave them at Sains. Do you know how long they need boiling for? Do you do that bit at the end where you shave and eat the heart (don't worry PN we are still talking about artichokes)?

We did some really thick blown wallpaper over some poorly patched plaster and the lumps and bumps showed even through that :(
    I think....

Michaels, cannot remember times, sorry, and cannot look in a book for you, paint on hands...am typing with ring finger only:D

We are normally half way up the stairs before finishing, so never get to the heart, but its the best bit so well worth it....
