I started my claim with Debenhams/Santander 18months ago. The claim was rejected with a letter which contained a phone copy of my original agreement (which was taken out in store march 2000) I was never made aware of the PPI on the account.
I used a PPI company who did all the ground work for me. The have just recently sent me a letter to say my claim has been upheld and full details of my settlement plus interest will be provided in due course.
I had the card for close to 10 years the problem is not only did Santander run the Debenham's account but so did New day and another company held they before Santander did. This has cause many problems tracing my account history.
Hopefully it won't be long now till I get the cash back in my bank account. Had given up hope but well worth the delay.
