    Good evening everyone,

tierdmum - letter sounds great, hope that you get the money soon, and not too much slack of the in laws!!!

SOMO1 - not sure about Queenie (from her last posts, i know she was very busy) but RonanKfan is fine, she has been having computer probs, but i will let her know she is missed!!!

PP - hope your OH got on ok at the doctors xx

((HUGS)) to anyone who wants/needs one xxx

Well, the doctor has prescribed me some stronger sleeping pills for a few days, in hope that a couple of nights sleep will kick start my body into sleeping without waking every hour, like it is at the moment. I dont have any particular worries (no more than anyone else) but i think im in the mind set when i go to bed that im going to wake up, so i do. Hopefully the zopliclone will work,Ive never been a good sleeper, but some sleep would be great.
Had a nice day with the LOs even tho we stayed indoors, didnt do anything special but they all played lovely together, which makes my job a lot easier!

Right, going to get my 2 to bed, have an hours relax, then off to bed,
Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Evening all,

I'm up here in the bedroom supposedly packing  but having a wee break. At the dr's today, the sister decided go give me a cholestral blood test as it runs in my family. Four attempts later  she asked someone else. She got it first off so have 2 sore arms tonight.

Went to Morrisons this arv to get a few nibblys and had to use my card. I couldn't remember the pin number. My mind just went blank. After 3 attempts my card got locked. Of course, then I remembered it. :D A longish queue had formed, and the woman behind me said *for goodness sake* :o:D I got the giggles.

DH was of course in the loo, he has made it his personal quest to use every loo in the UK before we leave. :D Anyhoo got it all sorted, although not the card being locked. Rang up the bank when I got home, they told me how to fix it so will do that in the next few days when I find a cashpoint machine.

CM Rest up on Wed. You deserve it.

Tired Mum Letter is great. Good luck.

Well off to finish packing. ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to everyone not feeling well. Byeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Welcome all newbies. Hi to the oldies not currently posting, hope you are all fine if you are looking in.
Good letter tired-mum they have no excuse for not sending you a cheque for the money immediately, they knew where DH lived.
Hope you get some sleep catowen, while I may wake up early if I am not tired, I can usually guarantee 4-5 hours unconsciousnes first :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Not kidding DH had to kick me if DS woke up, and often found it easier to see to him than to try to wake me
    Take care

Know I won't have time to post in the morning before i set off so............

AussieLass safe journey to the Emerald Isle!! Hope the crossing is smooth as a mill pond:rotfl: :rotfl: Give Snowy and Pink a hug (each!!!) from me:D

tired mum letter is excellent, that should get results!!!!:D Don't let them intimidate you. This is your money bequested to you and DH by his Grandmother. Your MIL and her sister should be ashamed of themselves for not carrying out her wishes.

catowen hope you've had some decent sleep!!

twink "fur coat and no knickers" was one of my Mum's favourite sayings!!! As I read your post I could hear her voice:rotfl: (when she thought she'd done that to death she'd vary it with "red hat, no drawers!":rotfl: )

Well given that I've got to iron the skirt I'm wearing tomorrow (must lose some weight so more of my clothes fit me:o :o ) I'll say Goodnight all.
    CMx
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
  • Hello - it's actually the SIL and BIL who are "all fur coat" - you'll all laugh to hear it was one of the phrases I used to DH when I was being gobsmacked!!!

Tired Mum - you stick to your guns. It is there problem and not yours, you just want what you have been bequeathed. I had all this with my charming sisters when Mum died - in the end I just passed it all to my solicitor as I got fed up of it. The last time I saw my Sisters to speak to they attacked me. Needless to say they are not on my christmas card list. The house I live in was the one I grew up in with Mum and I had just moved out of it into our own place and although Mum had said she wanted me to have it I turned up one day and the locks had been changed and there was a for sale sign on it. Thanks to a fab solicitor I got it. People can be very strange when it comes to money. My abiding memory of my eldest sister is her just sitting at the dining table with Mum's things and saying "I just want the money". (This is also the same person who turned up with the Which Guide of what to do when somebody dies - pity there wasn't a chapter on grieving in it or a self help guide on "how to keep in touch with your Mother"....).
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
