  • Morning Guys!

OH had a bad night last night. Woke up struggling to breath (he has bad asthma anyway) and has alot of liquid on his chest. I think he has pnemonia (sp) as he has left it too long. He wouldnt let me call the emergency GP, so am calling at 8 to get him seen. His peakflow is very low and think they will send him for an xray and give him anti-biotics and steroids. Why are men so difficult when it comes to their health:confused:  :D I feel so guilty when OH is not well and Im ill all the time. He wont ask for help either.

Lovely day here and WM is on. DW has been emptied and toilet cleaned. Kitchen done through. Not feeling great myself today, so need to take it easy.

OH got his first essay back today and got 71 which is pretty good to say he hasnt studied in years:D ...dead proud of him.

    Anyway, I have to go.

    Hugs to all

    PP

    Good morning everybody,

DH has the day off work today (which I'd forgootten until he didn't disappear to work this morning!) so I've managed to persuade him that he's taking DD2 to tumble tots. Then I've just planned out a day of jobs for him-and I wonder why he didn't remind me he was home :rotfl:

N9eav- hugs for you and your daughter and Mrs Mix

Penny Pincher- hugs to your OH

Hope everyone has a good day

dd back at school today - she 's really excited! My day off has switched from wednesday to monday so this is my last day off from w**k - excited - well no. Will need to ring them today to see what i'm doing tomorrow - if I'm in court this week then I have to wear a suit but if not i can be a bit more casual. Meeting middle dd and dgs in town today to open a bank account for dgs and to give her some money for tonight. She and her isster are seeing Lily Allen tonight at the apollo or whatever it's called nowadays. at the ripe old ages of 17 and 21 this is their first gig and i will probably have to go with them on the bus because they're quite nervous. Can't get hold of the older one but I hope she turns up as I really don't want to have to see Lily Allen myself!
going to clean the living room today, get something from the bursting at the seams freezer for tea, and resow some veggies as the last ones may have got frostbitten or something as nothing is coming up :(
have a good day all :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
  • Morning all :D

Not posted much over the last couple of days as I've been getting my head down and getting on with the studying I have to do. But it's good news I've nearly finished the one assignment, just a few details to check with my lecturer this afternoon and hopefully it will be done and dusted :T Just need to move onto the dissertation now

Apart from that not much going on on the OS front as every eveing is now taken up with uni work, but I have managed to get all the washing done on the weekend so just the ironing and cleaning to do now through the week.

Hope everyone is doing OK, but as always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed

Good morning everyone ,Its a beautiful day down here in the Garden of england .I have just looked out of the window and the sun is shing over the river medway and it looks like we are in for another splendid spring day.I am going to my youngest DD's today as we are going to get started on the SPRING CLEANING. Old fashioned idea I know but a good 'bottoming out' is what's needed .She has five children, two dogs, a rabbit, a hampster, two cockertiels, a tank ful of fish, and one of my grandsons has a pet rat !! It's like a blooming zoo at times .All her hairy builders have gone now the extention is finished so we are going to start at the top of her house and work down, de-cluttering and scouring as we go.She lives in a town house on three floors so it's a big job. I shall go armed with my Stardrops, Vinigar,Micro-cloths and rubber gloves .I am in the mood this morning to get stuck in.
Lunch will be a sanwich and some of our katies left over chocolate birthday cake ( well one does need a choccy rush )
At some point i also have to go to the opticians and get the legs of my glasses tightened up.The baby Mikey grabbed my glasses last night and they are looking a bit bent to say the least .I don't fancy having 'Jack Duckworth ' glasses with sticking plaster holding them together..
I also have to try and finish my book for my Uni course for tomorrow as we shall be dicussing it .It is rather a good one called 'Star of the Sea' by Joseph O'Connor and very readable .
Well <<<hugs >>> to those in need, and big smiles to those who are not .
Have good day everyone, so what if it's Monday, ,just think, another four days and its Friday again Doesn't time fly when your enjoying yourself .
    Take care all

(((( hugs )))) to those OSers, Junior OSers and OS-Partners who are under the weather, struggling with arthritis, etc or feeling quite poorly. And another one (((( hugs )))) for anyone who feels they need one.

Don't have the school run this morning as DD's school are having an "active" week so XDH will be dropping her at school at 8.30 for an aerobics session. They are having one each day this week. The school are also encouraging pupils to walk to and from school to get more exercise and help save the planet at the same time. Its typical that our forecast is rain for pretty much the whole of the week.

This week I will shortlisting teachers for interviews for DD's school, have DS's parents' night, a HUGE mailshot to get out for boss who returns from a week's holiday today, PTA meeting, orthodontist's appointment, and of course all the usual stuff that gets taken for granted that Mum will do.

Dinner tonight will be aberdeen angus steak pie for DS and DD (I don't eat beef but I like DS and DD to have it occasionally for the iron). Not sure what I will be having as my eating has gone to pot recently.

Have a marvellous Monday everyone. xx
