Does anyone know whether that means they'll pull the plug? Can anyone think of anything I can do? (other than sweet talking my HR department)
Unless the form specifically asks if the job is ending, than I doubt if HR will tell them otherwise. If it specifically asks they cannot lie.
However, a quick nip in and explain wouldn't go amiss, if it was me I would.

sunny day here but a cold wind, managed a bracing walk round the village after i got in from our training morning, it was about downs syndrome and they had a girl of 17 and a lad of 25 talking about living with downs which was very interesting

Hi everyone. Hugs to everyone with the Monday blues.
I am having an ok day, been kept busy for a change but its basically just putting figures on a spreadsheet and is so brain numbingly boring I need a break. As long as I get it finished before I go then I don't have to spend long on it in the morning!
I had a weekend away so our flat is a tip! I will need to do a lot of dishes and a load of washings. Am tempted to go out for dinner cos got £50 Leisure vouchers but will try and keep them for during the week. Today I was suppose to be starting diet again, had a yoghurt for breaky and HM soup for lunch...then my workmate brought in chocolate raisins after lunch so we have been stuffing our faces with them. Oh well.. doing the housework later will burn that off, think the rain might stay off for a bit so am going to walk home via the pound shop for tealights.
Chat later peeps. Take care. x0 -
Afternoon all!
Well what fun I've had:rolleyes: Decided to do the front garden. Hauled out the mower and strimmer, all the pruning tools and various digging implements. Started mower and the blade is knackered! Couldn't cut butter hot:rotfl: :rotfl:Cue put everything back in shed and pop to B&Q. Of course they don't have the spare blade. Never mind, go to Homebase. Nope don't stock the 12 inch ones. One hour and several miles later I track down a looky-likey replacement blade. Get home, go to fit it and realise the problem with the first one was it was upside down!!! When I cleaned and oiled the mower at the end of last year I put it back wrong!!!:o :rotfl: Still the grass is sort of cut. And edged. And I've pruned a bit. And now I've got backache.
MATH Yeah I thought it'd be easier if he just sent the stuff to me. When I suggested that, and said he'd only need to 'phone them and authorise me to deal with it, he got more upset and said what a terrible drain on me he was etc etc, so I ended up begging him to let me come:rotfl: But you can bank on it, he will talk to the tax office tomorrow to name me as his representative, so it will be easier if there's a next time:DNow what penance are you putting on Mrs MATH for her slip up?;)
twink Thanks for the hug! I'm still waiting on my sample. Just hope it arrives when I'm on my own (not that I'm greedy, just want to save them from themselves:rolleyes: ) Knowing my luck it'll arrive tomorrow and they'll have eaten it by the time I get back:rotfl:
reverie Welcome to OS!! Look forward to lots of posts from you (we're all [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] interested too!;) )
Well my coffee is now finished so I'd best think about dinner. It'll have to be something easy, quite fancy kedgeree.
Enjoy the rest of the day .

Just stuck me head around the door to say I had a wonderful afternoon after our 'springclean 'playing with two and a half year old Mikey. We have watered all of Mummy's flowers, and all of Mikey, and Granny as well. But he's happy to 'help' which is the main thing. We also made a few of 'Rabbit shaped ' biscuits and covered them with chocolate icing and they vanished swifter than the 'Titanic' hitting the iceberg. I shal never be slim and svelte-like all the time my little pal and I like chocolate biscuits .He starts nursery school in September so maybe my figure will return !! but I don't think so, as I shall still have to make him his biscuits for his lunchbox .
How can such a tiny person rule my life like this , his smile has a lot to do with it as he smiles for England, bless him. My DD says there is a large dent in the middle of my head where his thumb firmly rests and I think she is right .
What a beautiful spring day this has been.lets hope it lasts for awhile, well i'm off to do some ironing, take care peeps0 -

Well what a day, I've been backwards and forwards to school more times than I care to remember. My youngest fell on his face today and has a lovely graze from his forhead down his nose across his mouth to his chin ! Looks beautiful ! I'm also the emergency contact for most of my friends kids as they are at work and I am not and I live very close. Why do all the kids get sick or have accidents on the same day-is it because they feel left out ! Wasn't sure what else to do with them all so we have made cupcakes and flapjacks and I cooked leek & potato soup for dinner-I feel exhausted but at least I am ahead on the evening for once !
Have a good night everyone,

Think I have got this virus that is going around. Had a Headache since yesterday evening and woke up this morning feeling shattered with my head splitting.
Eventually went back upstairs to lie down for an hour at 11 a.m. - dozed for a while and when I looked at the clock it was 3p.m.
Managed to make home made chilli for us all with rice and am now slumped here with a cup of tea.
Headache is better but feel really odd so might go and lie down again.

Hope things get sorted out for your husband - next time never mind if he objects - just get the emergency doctor.
Hugs to all."This site is addictive!"

well hope everyone is well have been to the CAB today as recommended and they are great gave me loads of info so i have sent 2 registered letters to the MIL and her vile mouthed sister
In respect of my Grandmothers wishes, Mrs **** deceased. I have been informed that I am a beneficiary in her will.
As I have had no formal contact with you regarding this matter could you please forward any pertinent details relating to this bequest outlining any details that may apply to either my dependants or myself?
I also believe from verbal information that a sum of money has been left to me, could you forward this within 28 days of receipt of this letter to the above address.
As is in my rights as a beneficiary and your duty of care as executors could you forward details as to the calculation of this sum including outstanding interest from the account due me
From a telephone call on the 11/03/2007 from mrs ***** I was informed that I need to inform you as executors as to what I want, it was not made clear to me what this meant. Therefore in accordance with your duty as executors would you please supply me with further details to this area of my Grandmothers will e.g. does this apply to personal possessions?
I have already left payment for registered post with Mrs *****, as the previous attempt to forward this money was not successful.
so we are bracing ourselves for a phone call tomorrow
will be chilling out later with a glass of vino and a piece of DD2 birthday cake
hugs to all who need them0 -
