The Daily, Monday 12th March 2007

Options
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 12 March 07. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread
after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning everyone, hope you are all well. I'm on one of my normal sleepless nights, and it's exceptionally boring so here I am starting the daily even though there isn't a single interesting thing in my life to tell you about! I have w*r* in the morning, having been off on holiday for an entire luxurious glorious week
...but ahh the agony of returning is really putting me into a downer.

9Neau I hope your daughter's progress is enough to allow her to return home. Big hugs to everyone else who might need them, and in fact to everyone cos it's Monday.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Snowy

A bit like that here today.

Good morning Snowy and all too follow.:D

The kids are eating breakfast and it will just be a case of everyone getting dressed in a mo. Absoloutely horrible here today, blowing and teeming down and so I have agreed to a lift this morning from OH.

I forgot to say yesterday that I got LO's shoes for £5 i/o £22 :j :j :j from Clarks and so the others got their trainers and the whole lot cost less than I expected to pay for LO's ones alone.

Got the usual clean to do after work, a wash and some ironing and the kitchen windows need doing again. Last night's chicken will be reheated (leftovers) and they will all have hm bread and butter pudding to follow. Me - some fruit.

    Anyway time to go,

2igintg.gif to anyone in need today, and miss N9eav.

    See Ya,

    Smoky. xxxx

'Morning SnowyOwl and Smokybabe and everyone who follows :hello: A big (((hugs))) to everyone who needs one or is feeling ill.

As SnowyOwl says it's Monday and w**k again ... like most others on here I much prefer to be at home! Had a lovely OS weekend and didn't want it to end. Just four days to work this week though as I have Friday off.

I've just hung a washload on the ceiling airer so that will be dry for me to iron tonight.

Breakfast: oats, fruit and HM yoghurt with orange juice
Lunch: HM tomato & lentil soup with HM soda bread. Couple of pieces of fruit.
Dinner: Left over HM pheasant casserole with whatever I can scrape together veg wise (it's shopping night after dinner). HM ice cream.

Have a lovely OS day everyone

Greetings. Thanks for your thoughts. Daughter still in Hospital. Every day they tell us she will be home the next day, and each day we go in expecting that and something else happens. It's getting really frustrating. Daughter spent another night in the ward. I don' t think they will let her out tonight either. There is no major problem other than she has a cold and chest infection which is sending the diabetes a little haywire. Daughter is bored and fed up being in a ward of old people who stink of pee. At 17 she is too old for the childrens ward, but every one else at hospital seems to be over 80. Hmmmm. Back to work today and maybe back there tonight..

    Morning everyone

No sunshine today, but at least it isn't raining. Off to do some digging at the allotment this morning, tried last week, but it was so wet I gave up.

Will have another go at decluttering this afternoon, so watch out for the bargains on Ebay later ;)

Hugs to everyone who needs one :grouphug:

    Morning Everyone

Was nearly late for work this morning, as I fell asleep again after the alarm went off!!:p
Had a horrible dream last night.
Had a lovely afternoon out with a couple of lads. I was out in my t-shirt and I wasn't cold. Let's hope the weather stays this way
Got kick boxing tonight, which I could do without to be honest, cos I'm very tired. But I must go.
    Hope everyone's ok
