This debt busting is becoming really addictive. I cannot wait to get my balance to zero so I can start saving for the deposit for our home.SPC #1813

Another NSD - making 4 for June so far.
Have come down with a horrid cold though and feel rubbish. Have made a small payment to Very (£22.13). Work seemed to drag on today. Luckily I have the weekend to try and get a bit better as I have a busy week next week.
Have re-jigged my budget today so that all my regular spending, DD's, SO etc are covered and all the money I have is allocated to something. I am hoping this will work well for me. It also means that according to it I have £283 spare a month which I can put toward my debt.
I also have some biggish payments due from Quidco at some point, which will make a nice payment off my balance. I am going to try and keep paying enough to cover the minimum payment as well as the interest so I dont keep taking 2 steps forward then a step back.
Sat here watching the England game - the whole street has gone England mad with flags and banners. The rain and the wind means they are a bit bedraggled though.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.SPC #1813

I actually enjoyed the England game, although there were a few moments where I had to leave the room because I thought "here we go again..." Still it was a good match
Good job on the NSD - I managed another one yesterday too.
Have a good weekend!

Feeling alot better after a good nights sleep - hoping its just a 24 hour bug and by this afternoon I will on fighting form.
I have also decided along with the budget I am going to withdraw £40 on Fridays (I get paid weekly) and that will be my spending money for a week to pick up anything we need, including DD'd preschool fees and any shopping that we need, as well as paying the milkman.. If I have anything left over I will put it in my sealed tin. It will be my own weekly spending challenge which can run from Friday - Friday. I do a monthly shop online so that wont be included in the challenge.
I withdrew £40 and I still have £40 left.SPC #1813

Today will be a spend day though as I am taking the children swimming and we normally sop at a cafe for a drink afterwards.
We are also off to the library and DS1 wants to borrow a film for the week.SPC #1813
