renewing ip address

right disbaled it no such luck
but did notice on zone alarm th address was 192.168.0.0
instead of the requested 192.168.0.1

start, settings, control panel, network connections, your lan connection, tcpip, properties, obtain an ip address automatically.

If there is no lan card listed, check for network cards in start, run, devmgmt.msc


PS start, run, cmd

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

might do something.


which router is it?

your subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0

it says destination host unreachable
