    Wm is on
    Some ironing is done
    Bed remade
Socks sorted, only 2 odd ones left over, I guess the other 2 will turn up in a bit.

Off to work today, just relised the temp agency has put me on a short shift today, too late to do much about it now, note to self to check more often and ring.............but the up side is it might be busy and I get asked to stay on, or I'll get to come home and do more flying!! :rotfl:

Goodness knows which list I am on!:rotfl: but dusting and more ironing are needed

Have a good day, hugs xx

Yeah valli fight the good fight.

The fact you still get CB for him is a big plus for you. Is he recently 18 and doing 'A' levels?
was 18 in September but still in Y13 and doing A levels.

My mum and dad brought me another chest of drawers yesterday - I have other pieces whic match, also from them so this gives me an opportunity to 'dump' an old- fashioned bedding box and have *almost* matching bedroom furniture! (will still have two unmatched bedside cabinets, though they match each other, and a small wardrobe).

    So

Valli's VERY AMBITIOUS plan for today

    • sort out drawers in dining room thus freeing one drawer for tablecloths and napkins (currently in bedding chest - far more sensible to store in room they are used in anyway) CS 'carp'
    • be ruthless about rest of bedding chest contents - CS what can go
    • remove bedding chest - check with mum but think no-one will want it (it's 'utility' ie post war cheap) and *fling*
    • dust chest of drawer, hoover space and fill with organised bedding
    • list on ebay in between - photograph ALL stuff I have to sell and list/relist
    • clean bedroom anyway; change bedding
    • post ebay sale - buy sawdust while down there (ie shops)
    • clean out gerbils; clean LR
    • make list of millions of jobs which need doing AKA Toots list
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Morning

Had some get up and go this morning so went for a few miles on the bike before breakfast, came back and ate twice as much as I would normally! Washing sorted and first lot on. DW loaded with last nights tea things (had hoped DH would do it after I went to bed early but not so!) Not sure whether to shower now and then see if DD wants to go and get a bike or carry on and shower when finished flying. If I sit here much longer tho I will lose all the motivation I had first thing.

DH back to the surgical unit yesterday, his urgent op looks like being end of July  nd then he'll have to have at least 6 weeks off after. That'll be no overtime for 4 1/2 months then, he's not a happy bunny :(

Lovely to 'see'you embb - I know you dont need the lists but its lovely to have you around.
    Hope you feeling better piggers
Mrs MP - sending +ve vibes with you for neice
    Valli - go for it
Dusty - Hope woody's abcess clears up, they are seriously horrible and stink.Poor woody x

Hope you all have a great day, prob back later xx

I have avoided the loo today but my stomach is still crampking and feels bruised as well now.. it'll go off in its own time I guess.

Squeak and Dot slept appallingly last night.. Squeak woke at 3 and OH ended up in Tiddles bed with her (others are at KH's) and Dot was up every hour from 2... beastly creatures.. I am glad they did it the same night so hopefully we will both get to sleep tonight!.. Squeak went back to sleep about 5 until 8 and Dot slept from 7-9.

    Washing out on the line.
    1 lot in to wash
cuppa made.. I'll glug that then get these ebay things posted then gut the grotty kitchen and nag OH to do a variety of things.. such as getting the kitchen blinds up before winter!!

I have decided the tiling in the kitchen is the next big job.. it will be about £400 as the kitchen is so huge but I will nag my uncle to do it and he can teach OH.

Valli your list looks like mine. I have a rare week off and want to try and clean/de-clutter as much as I can.

The usual washing mountain is waiting for me, and it is raining. I need to borrow some get up and go.

Bedding box now empty. ExOH is coming to pick up the kids. He and DS are going to bring the bedding chest downstairs

*note to self - ask ExOH and DS to bring the bedding chest downstairs*;)

I have nine days off, and no real plans for going anywhere. DH has mostly stopped making a major mess and is finishing off the kitchen while he looks for a job. Seriously thinking of splitting the house into nine areas and having a real deep clean and de-clutter - in a head to head half term challenge style like TNG and Penelope Penguin did years ago (I do miss PP). Does anyone else want to play? I may have to do before and after photos to force myself to do it.

I have emptied and filled the DW, and put the WM on so far today. DH has kindly taken the boys for a walk to see if they can spot where the jubilee beacon is going to be.
