Hello all, sorry not been keeping up with thread but wishing everyone well. It has been a bit of a busy week, think it has caught up with me. Today came home after dropping DD at school and just rested, fell asleep. Took her to school tea party, and then got her to help me a bit when we got back.
Dishwasher emptied, stairs cleared of junk, hallway cleared, swept and mopped. Washing up done, kitchen S&S, bins emptied for collection tomorrow. Put clean bedding on spare bed ready for MIL coming, and have folded other duvets for OH to put away.

Have 2 friends over tomorrow, and new fridge freezer being delivered/old one collected. Have to clear out old one today!

    Hi All
I hope everyone is well, hugs and positive vibes to those who need them
Just posting my updated list so i can see easily what i have left to try and achieve before the weekend. OH, DS1 and DS2 are off to watch Wales play rugby on saturday so i am hoping the weather will be nice so myself and DS3 can go to the Bath and West show. I am going to try and get as much done as i can left on the list as the kids are on half term next week so flying will be difficult with all 4 kids round my ankles :rotfl:

Uh, had such a busy week, so just been doing a quick S&S every day. Today had a bit of an easier time. Didn't really stick to the list though :o I scrubbed the entire back hall because the dog covered it entirely in mud! Washed the dishes and scrubbed the sink, and did a quick run around with the hoover. Also changed my bed and the guest bed, and managed a couple of loads of washing.

Hopefully I'll be able to do the rest of the week's missed items tomorrow. OH is at home so he should help ;). He might even do some tidying for me while I'm at work on Saturday

    Hope everyone is well.

    Hugs. x

Well tidied my "bedroom" didn't take long really. Most of it was kiddies books so bobbed them back on the bookcase in dd's room. All sorted now. Supper had and currently in bed looking on tinternet for some bedside cabinets. Watching pride and prejudice, lol. The bbc version.

Kitchen sorted after tea, wm been on and hung on airer as forecast more rain tomorrow.

Ptty tidy here, and bathrooms have already been done this week so maybe just a s&s for me tomorrow!

  • Monday - empty shed.

    _pale_

Throw out 5 binbags of grot.
    Do 2 tip runs.
    Fill bin to overflowing.
Keep fingers crossed it will be emptied when binmen come at 6am.
    Sweep shed.
Encourage giant 8 legged guard creature to retire to the top left corner of the shed for her duties.
Cover corners of shed in salt as mollusc encroachment is unacceptable.
    Put down remmant of lino.
Add rug that would be thrown out otherwise.
Put old kitchen table at back of shed.
Use old bathroom door hanger for seeds and gardening chemicals, knife, oilstone, etc.
Put 4 boxes of tools back in shed.
Convert organiser recycling bin dumped from kitchen cupboard into holder of seed compost, vermiculite and gravel.
Use over door coat hooks wedged under roof for hanging secateurs, etc.
Use fruit crate to store fleece.
    Wash windows.
    Train rose up side.
Move battered old chair from kitchen to shed.

Tell small cat (jokingly) 'look, you have a little house'.

Realise 5 days later that you've only seen small cat for dinners as he has moved into the little house and sleeps in the box of horticultural fleece.

    Tuesday

Clean patio and greenhouse, visit B&Q and come back with spraypaint for chair and 2 recliners.

Wash back door, cat box and T Cut stains in windowframe.

    Wednesday

Take old cats to vet. Bloods due in for one in morning.

Shopping for big stuff, tins, etc.

Clean upstairs bathroom and spend night in pain because ankle has self destructed, along with both shoulders, left hip, feet and lower back is making horrible noises.

    Muck out cats.

    Thursday

Trip to market, visit arg*s for DD's birthday present (not that I'll see her :(). £20. Bit different from usual budget, but she doesn't live here, so can't spend tax credit on her because I don't get it anymore.

Stuff face on MccyD because CBA and losing ability to walk.

Home (very slowly), then out at 2 for music lesson, back at 3, out again at 4 to B&Q, buy paint for bathroom, get orchid from IK EA and some picture frames for flower pictures. Back at 6.

Empty bathroom of everything not screwed down. And the mirror, which was.

    Cook dinner for a change.

    Vegetate in front of Springwatch.

    Tomorrow shall be decorating.

Morning all! Thank goodness it's a long weekend - feel really tired lately!

Bin bags out, house looking pretty good and the list is doable too! Will probably be out for some of the weekend looking for a lost beagle in Huntingdon - the things we do for our pets!

Hope everyone has a good day toda - I would usually be running abound getting sheets in the WM and out on the line before work - but will do the bed tonight - got some blackout curtains to pick up today as a certain 2 beagles seem to think that 5am is breakfast time - then they go back to bed! No wonder we are feeling tired haha!

Have a good day everyone and don't forget the bunting!

    Morning All

Dancemum - just clarify with the school re the medication - most schools won't give out stuff like calpol and cough medicine, ours has the same policy - however DS has to have a tablet every lunchtime so they issue him with that without a problem. It may be that they just have to do a care plan with the school nurse, you and the school - obviously I don't know what medication he needs but just talk to them.

Jojo - hope you do get to see your DD on her birthday even if it's just for a little bit.

Well DH decided to ring me at 6.05 so not much of a lie-in - I was sort of awake but I wasn't really planning on waking up properly! I've put the WM on and then got back in bed! I want to try and do loads today - not sure how that'll work out - depends on what the kids are doing. I tidied the main part of the LR floor last night and hoovered but I think that's about it. All rooms in the house need doing!

    Have a good day all

Oh Jojo I did love your post :D made me giggle :rotfl:

It was DD1's prom yesterday, it was lovely but obviously nothing got done at home :o

I had 12 girls here having their photos done in my garden by a few mums and one mum managed to stick herself on my nettles :o
My ex drove the limo but had to park it on the main road as it would be possible to get into our street
You should have seen all these girls trodging up the road in their posh dresses and huge heels they couldn't walk in :rotfl:
Anyway DD1 stayed at her boyfriends last night so I've only been able to see other peoples photos til she gets home.
I'll post a picture on here later if she gives me permission :D

I'd like to say how good DD2 has been, apart from her normal stroppy teenage behaviour she has been really good that everythings been focused on DD1's "special day" and that's where all the money's gone. I'm just as proud of her as I am her sister :)

DD2 has the dentist this morning, she asked to go so I know the tooth must be bad :( There will be a treat from Primark for her after if she can sit through the work ;)

Lots still to do :o but the house doesn't look as bad as normal and I'd done the bathroom the other day :j
TD is on as it looks very dark outside :( and its all towels and I don't want them hanging round the house.
