Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

New style this week depending on how much time and motivation you have. The idea is that even if you are really busy you don't need to fall off the wagon!

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

WOOT! Nearly all done already :) Going to do an hour or so at the allotment tomorrow morning before it gets too warm (as long as the Small One allows anyway!) so that will be my extra extra as well as my 15 mins RoD clearance! :) G'luck all x

Note: Just thought I'd add that my OH did the HHI and mopping the floors for me so haven't done it all myself - he's such a little gem (don't tell him I said that though!)

Count me in too please - I flagged a bit towards the end of last week! Thanks for the list Dusty!

Got Tuesday off if all goes to plan, although my boss phoned me today to say his mum has fallen and broken her hip (aged 92 bless her) and he has to be at the hospital at 8 tomorrow to sign the forms etc so he won't be about tomorrow, possibly longer, others out next week too so I could be working longer days = less flying. Oh well, mustn't grumble, I'm just hoping for a good outcome tomorrow.

List looks good for tomorrow - might even get a head start tonight lol!

Still decluttering here - do you think Estate Agents are used to seeing clutter and won't mind doing a valuation anyway?!!

    Hope everyone is ok x

Froddy~ get decluttering or you will have to move it all!!

    Favour please:-

I have re done my outside herb pot as most of it died back, does any one have any mint or other herbs in their garden that they can spare me a small amount inc roots to get me gonig again?

I am happy to pay postage. I need / would like roots and top leaves only, not soil or pots to save on the postage.

OH has 'asked for a pass out' he has gone to the pub with my best friend's husband! hence all the cooking and washing up!!

I'll be in and out during this week and hoping to keep up with you all.

I'm in - I have paid work and DD2 at home revising - I am going to get her slightly more organised tomorrow .

She is doing OK - the post-viral fatigue is improving, but the next few weeks will be challenging...

    Thanks for the thread Dusty.

I'm in but not sure what I'll get done as DD has been admitted to hospital with complications from her bout of chickenpox. Will try my best though.

I am signing up - the house isn't fit and my son wants people to visit.

I have tried this so often but always fallen by Tues - fingers crossed this time.

I am afraid I won't be able to keep up to the thread, but thank you DK for posting.
