    Afternoon all

Spent the day so far with street party prep with my neighbour (forcast is glum though) and laundry.

Woody has been off colour for a few days and I've now discovered an weeping abscess on his head. Bathed with salt water but as he is unwell taking him to the vet in 30 minutes rather than an emergency appointment over the holiday weekend.

Oh and I did clean the bathroom this morning. I'll pop into Mr A which is close to the vet whilst DS2 stays in the car with the cat.

    hello all

am less than chuffed. Spent close to £200 on DS's new glasses in the naive belief that, as a dependant, I would get the money back from the health plan (DS had headaches)
they've rejected on the grounds that their T&Cs state dependants must be under 18 (as well as dependant, obviously)

Have fired off an e mail stating I believe their T&Cs unfair as he is definitely dependant on me, moreover I receive child benefit for him.

Anyway LOTS of washing done - and I have flowers:D

If they still won't 'relax' their rules I think I will take this one to the ombudsman - not had a 'good' fight in ages;)

Yeah valli fight the good fight.

The fact you still get CB for him is a big plus for you. Is he recently 18 and doing 'A' levels?

    Morning lovelies!

Mrs MP Vibes for your niece, give her a collective Flylady cuddle from us all x

Hope all sickies are feeling better asap.

Huge congrats to G&B well done chick :T

AF must be looming judging by the time tsk! Got work today for a couple of hours and working Monday and Tuesday too, if I don't go I don't get paid so no 4 day weekend for me, which is a bit of a bummer but it's ok I'd only waste it anyway :D

Not planning on doing much, house is still ticking over nicely, got some washing to do and will do a potter round with the hoover. I don't post much due to not really needing the lists anymore.

    listy:-

    WM
    load DW with few bits
    dry washing
    tidy LR
    hoover through
    wipe LR door
    sort some clothes
    work 2 hrs
    sort tea
    poss clean bathroom
    pay bill online

Re-organised all my kitchen cupboards last weekend so they now flow better, I've got a few empty which is good cos I like space/empty-ness  just need to tackle the brick shed and get that the same hahaha off to potter now, laters x

    Morning,

Have just been downstairs and floor feels slightly tacky where rug grip was. Might have to turf tots out into garden and give it another scrub. We also have two little shrubbies to plant, and the spuds need moe muck on them.

Other than that we have grannies and grampsies coming today. My mum coming for company, as stepdad is working all weekend, mil coming as she likes our hairdresser, and he is also coming after lunch, and FIL is coming as he has offered to help put my new bed together, when it arrives.

So expecting a bit of a house full, which should be nice, the children will enjoy, especially!

Not much flying required, just keeping on top of kitchen with lots of people in and out...

Have a lovely jubilee weekend, hope the weather perks up a bit. Dry here so far today but looks quite murky...

    Morning!!

Nice to see you embb  I'm working today and Tuesday so I'm sort of with you!
Bossy can we have a pic of your new bedroom when it's all done, it sounds fab. I am very nosey :p

Well all I've done this morning is get up and almost dressed, just need to iron my jeans and put some makeup on (don't want to scare the customers) and I'm out that door. Hopefully I'll have some more decluttering to report later as I'm taking things to the CS where I'm working so win/win situation.

It's looking a bit doubtful here so I'm taking a brollie. Not going to put out any washing, the stuff I did last night is hanging on the doors and best it stays there or if it does rain the lazy bumpkin teens will just look out the window and think oh it's raining, the washing is getting wet, and go do something else  Oh and I've deliberately left the DW needing to be filled and set off that's the least they can do while I'm out.

    Enjoy your day everyone!
