buying lawnmower, some advise please
I have been looking for a new lawnmower, asto be honest i spend more time clearing the blade off my current mower, than i do actually mowing!
Anyway, i have seen on a website a mower which is advertised as being 59.98, i did a comparison on other websites and the cheapest i can see it is 129.99
I won't let you order it from the site or i would of done (only buy in store), but if i go in the store and it is priced more than the website price, is there anyway i can get them to sell it me for the reduced web price?
hopefully some money saver here can point me in the right direction.
if it turns out the be a bargin, i will post it on here tomorrow morning if anyone is interested.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lee

Well, if you don't ask, you won't get will you? Ask the manager very nicely and he may play ball. However, to be honest, it's a seller's market in the spring for garden type stuff.
Good luck though!A friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.0 -
Print out web site offer and take it to the store!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

I wonder what make it is?
I have a Bosch / Qualcast Electric mower and that has proved so much better than my old Soverign Petrol mower, no more trips to the Petrol station and no more paying a fortune to get the darn thing serviced. My Mind wanders, if found please return.0 -
Does anybody know a good cheap lawnmower that is under £50 as i only have a small garden. Can anybody supply the results from the Which guide as i cannot afford to subscribe!
Any help appreciated.0 -
Sorry I cant supply Which results. My current lawnmower was bought about 6-7 years ago, on the advice of a salesman in a newly opened B&Q in our area, he told the husband just to get there cheapest own make, its lasted this long and 3 weeks ago was hauled from the shed, and mowed the lawns no problems.Cant remember exactly how much he paid for it, about £35 I think, but the previous mower was a Flymo, cost us about £150 and lasted 2 years.
Every summer I think its gonna be its last, but its still going strong. We dont have huge lawns, but it takes a battering as the front one gets barley any sun and is sometimes quite damp when we mow it.

            Hi there
What kind of thing are you interested in. They've just assessed mowers for small to medium sized gardens.
They don't look particularly cheap to me, but you may be able to get some money off with Quidco or something.
Do you want petrol or electric.
I have seen a post on here for a manual one from Husqvana, which I think looks interesting.0 -
I bought a hand push mower from B&Q for about £30, and it works fine. We have a small garden too, and it does the job - and is less likely to go wrong than an electric one.0

Ask on freecycle, you'll probably find one for nothing
