I had to apply by post as the PO own postcode checker prevented me from completing the application online. Nice.
Got my PIN today and my balance was also £0 with the DD not yet been taken.
Thanks to your guidance I tried a £1 test transfer from my current account using FP (earlier posts provided the sort code) and it is visible in the PO account after 2hours :-)Staffordshire.

Post Office Finance has nothing to do with the Post Office. All they do is share a name. Everything else is run by the Bank Of Ireland.

PO Website says:ONLINE SAVER ISSUE 5 HAS SOLD OUT
Due to popular demand Online Saver Issue 5 is no longer available to new applications. We’ll be launching a new issue of Online Saver shortly so please come back soon.
In the meanwhile please take a look at our other savings options:
My guess is that Issue 6 will aim to be a table-topper again, beating Santander's 3.2%. So get ready to ditch and switch :wave:0 -
Itl be lower than 3.17 surely?0

Yes the Post Code checker/filler also did not recognise my postcode. Rather embarrassing for the Post Office ? On my second attempt I noticed that there is an option to type in your full address and that worked.0 -
Hi
I got paid 46p less 9p tax deducted on £775.00. My first deposit was 19th June 2012.
I think the interest is accrued daily but not sure how to work it out.
Thanks

I applied for the issue 5 as the interest on my issue 4 will be reduced to around 2.8% this month. They have opened the account but sent me new login ID and pass.I was hoping to just transfer my I4 balance to I5 leaving zero in I4 but as the account does not show up with my present login details I cant. Whats the best way to contact them to close I4 and transfer I5 over to my present login ID they dont seem to have a telephone number for contact Thanks0
