Just thought I would come back and update.
I'm now 32 weeks! Scary! I'm under shared-care with my midwife and a consultant due to my health problems and it's looking likely that I'll have a planned caesarean due to the severe M.E.
I also have to have extra growth scans because my BMI is low but I've had one so far and baby is growing normally. My next one is at 34 weeks.
The only annoying thing is that people keep commenting on how small my bump is for 32 weeks. Even my new care co-ordinator commented on it and it's making me feel very inadequate (although, not sure why) but my midwife says that everyone thinks they're an expertand everything is fine with the baby.
We're having a boy. We're both scared, obviously, but also excited. We know that we'll find a way to manage and my husband's family are fantastic and so supportive and there aren't any concerns about the welfare of our baby boy.
We're going to try and be the best parents that we can be. We know that we will struggle alot due to my disabilities but we are very lucky that we have a great support network and we've been looking at ways for me to be able to have baby when we're out in my wheelchair (i.e. a baby carrier). I was really worried that we wouldn't be able to go out as a family due to me being in a wheelchair and not being able to self-propel but we're thinking of ways around it. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Hey Lady M .... growth scans + small bump + c/s .... been there, done that, got the t-shirt as you know
Congrats on getting further than I did. The bonus of the extra scans is that you get to see your baby more often, ask if they can give you more photos!
You'll need big knickers. Seriously big knickers. Think of the worst, most horrible, highest waisted granny knickers you've ever seen in a bargain shop, that's what you need. But fortunately only for a couple of weeks until the c/s scar settles down. Oh, and I reckon having a cannula put in the back of your hand hurts more than getting the spinal block.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
