item removed again

i had a cd removed from ebay a couple of weeks ago, no idea why as it was a new genuine music cd

i have now had a handbag removed. it was a non branded handbag and i only wanted £10 for it. the colour of the handbag is described as mulberry by the website i bought it from. it is a dark tan colour and artificial leather

i had to complete an ebay multi choice quiz/questionnaire to be allowed to list items for sale. stupid thing is that i actually got 1 question wrong and they just tell you the correct answer and an explanation and let you carry on anyway so it is not going to stop people selling fake stuff

when i listed it i put in the title new/mulberry tan leather handbag or similar. in the item specifics i left the brand blank because i don't know the brand and it doesn't have a label, i put material: artificial leather and then in the description i said that it was a mulberry tan coloured handbag and was artificial leather / leather look

mulberry vero had ebay remove it. but i wasn't trying to pretend it was a mulberry handbag it is a mulberry coloured handbag.

i emailed mulberry a few days ago about it, i gave them a link to the website i bought it from showing that it said colour: mulberry and asked for permission to relist it. i have not yet had a reply.

am i allowed to relist it as a tan handbag and put the colour as mulberry tan in the auction? although i would like to list it as a mulberry/tan handbag as the colour is described as mulberry and it is also like a dark tan colour

I would avoid any mention of the word Mulberry.

i don't see why i should have to though, i wasn't trying to pretend it was a mulberry handbag, its just the colour of it

yes it was, something like mulberry/tan leather handbag, it has been removed so can't find exact title now

i usually put the colour of the item in the title if it is clothing, bags, accessories etc

They/You can't have Mulberry as a colour as it a Trademark & it has been registered with eBay's VERO

I wouldn't use it again, as you'll get suspended

Orange wont have a problem with you using their name as it is not going to be copied or have fakes of their items sold.

Problem is; Your listing a Fake handbag that is Mulberry is colour,
Mulberry UK will get an email everyday searching for the word mulberry, check your listing & see its not one of their handbags & get eBay to pull it
eBay will do this 2 or 3 times & then suspend you

    Why was the CD removed?
What is the website, showing the Handbag

have just been looking into this. you can't say something is "like mulberry" in the title but you can describe it as being like a mulberry handbag in the description.

although i don't want to say it is like a mulberry handbag just that the colour is mulberry. so going by the above i may be allowed to say it is mulberry coloured in the description just not in the title.

Probably more fake bags than phones. Why be so bothered about calling it 'mulberry'. Just say dark plum or whatever the closest colour is.

Using the word "Mulberry" in the title would suggest an attempt to link the item with the genuine item. Even if it is that colour.
