Anything from Lakeland will be good
. Poundshops do reasonable quality copies, so they would always be my first choice.

I got mine from poundland. They're so much easier and I can get massively more stuff in the cupboard. The rectangular ones are 4 high so I have 16 of these for all the bits and pieces such as dried fruit, food colourings, flavourings, decorations etc. Th all ones are cereal containers that I use for flours and icing sugar.0

For those who wonder why I bother, look up flour beetles, consider how I had to go through the entire 'how to get rid of them' clean down twice and throw away nearly six bags of otherwise perfect food 'in case' it was contaminated. Never again. Little b*stards got everywhere.
I sooooo hear you on this. It took MONTHS to get rid of them
This is having bleached every cupboard, chucked every single contaminated packet, used a hairdryer on the joins to try and kill any eggs. And they still wouldn't die
I keep all my flour in these

Not the cheapest but I needed something airtight.
For smaller sized lock and lock boxes morrisons sell a good range.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

You can get near identical ones from Tesco's for under £5.
What I find with Lakeland is it's worth looking for ideas but then actually source the product somewhere else as you will either find the same or something near identical for a lot cheaper elsewhere'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

That's the ones I have in the picture. Couldn't think what size they were but you're right they are 1.5l.0 -
I like these, but they don't bounce on ceramic tiled floorsPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

Oh it is horrible, isn't it? I emptied every cupboard, threw away every packet, unopened or opened, wrote on tins in marker pens what was in them and soaked off the labels in a bleach solution, scrubbed, bleached, dried, scrubbed, bleached and dried again, then opened a door to find one of the little s*ds happily crawling out of a shelf hole. I literally stood there and burst into tears.
Cue me doing the entire thing again, with spray bleach into the holes too, this time.
I stuck cloves in the holes afterwards, apparently the smell keeps them away. Or the investment-level quantities of Domestos I used....
Tubs. Jars. Whatever works to keep the bugs from ever over-running my kitchen again! Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I'm another one who uses 4 & 6 pint milk containers for all my dry goods - flours, rice, lentils, etc.
FREE gets my vote every time.

another vote for Lock & Locks, they might seem expensive, but repay their investment in no time
I keep a stock of cheapy containers to give people food home in, so I don't get upset about losing my good ones0
