BAUK do you have any wonderweb - that iron on stuff that you can use instead of sewing (or stapling  )?

I can just imagine the scene in the BAUK household:

"Mummy, my room is lovely and tidy, but where are my toys? Why do I have to wear my pj's all the time - I can't seem to find any clothes, and I would go to bed, but someone seems to have moved all my furniture out of my room....."

Lol taxi, I wont, I promise! Sticking to one glass only, cos I'm breastfeeding. Plus, to get pregnant you have to do something that I'm not really up to doing yet :rotfl:! (stitches...ouch!)

:rotfl: How did you know I'd removed her bed? I did leave her a duvet and pillow though. I have since caught her hiding her things in her cupboard since I entered enemy grounds. There is also now a sign on her door stating "no entry" and "ring the bell" - hmph has she not heard of DFW

    good morning hypno!!:D

gosh, i go away for a day and come back to find 3 pages of catching up to read!! :rotfl:
Firstly, really big welldone to DD for winning the £50!! thats really great and sounds as though they put a lot of effort into it so deserve the success.
Bless DD's answer re the money!! sounds exactly like the sort of thing OH would say to me (except he's quite a few years older so doesn't have that excuse!:rotfl:

Great to read about the tutoring course, particularly if you can combine it with something you quite obviously love such as your reflexology etc. Is a great idea, good for you!:T :T :T

Have an excellent weekend and enjoy the sun!!

Hi Pania and everyone else who has posted here this morning :hello:

Took the kids skiing this morning - you would think after a week of it they would have given it a break, but NO!!! Then had to do a mystery shop in the city - another £8 to add to the pot.

Just got home to find the post - my invigilating money has come and is almost twice as much as I expected!! I was expecting about £100 after deductions but the cheque is for £190.68 after tax, and I should hopefully be able to get some of the tax back at the end of the tax year, so I am very pleased with that!

OH has started to make noises about needing more money at work - he is paid a pittance for the amount that he does, and if he left, they would have to pay someone between £5-10k more to replace him so he has basically said that they either pay him the extra money or they find someone else and pay them instead!

I am hoping that he sees things through and doesn't back down now - he has something that he can fall back on - not perfect but well paid, so we shall see which way things go from here.

I hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend and has good weather too. Don't forget the sunscreen!

With the tutoring Hypno, you can teach anything where you have a qualification 1 level higher than the course itself. I've got a degree in music, so can teach that up to A level standard, but also have taught numeracy, community development, IT and skipping (don't ask!) Once you've got the qualification & experience you can often end up teaching all sorts - I've covered all kinds of lessons, and even did a workshop for OAPs on how to use their mobile phones!
